Mickey is a rather shy twenty-year-old first-year college student majoring in interior design and Mark is a more worldly twenty-two-year-old first-year law student. Mark has an eye for Mickey from the moment that he sees him and strikes up a conversation with him as soon as Mickey seats himself at the table next to him in Starbucks. As fortune would have it, Mickey moves to Mark's table and they forge a friendship. But sensing that there is more to this enigmatic young man than meets the eye, Mark sets out to confirm it, hoping that he and Mickey can become more than just friends.

This story is rated mature for vividly described sexual content. All characters are purely a product of my imagination.

A technically well-written story with few, if any, grammatical errors or misspellings. But based on my own personal experience as an old Gay man, I feel Mark and Mickey rushed into a nearly instant relationship. But this seems to be rather common among young people today with their short attention spans – even though these guys didn’t meet using an app.

Mickey’s mother also seems to be way too involved in her son’s life. Anyone who becomes involved in Mickey’s life will be dealing with his mother very frequently. She will likely be a nightmare in-law even though she initially appears to be a very pleasant, concerned parent.

Younger people will probably view my comments as the curmudgeonly mutterings of an extreme pessimist and really enjoy the story…

Response from the author:

Thank you, droughtquake. An objective comment from someone with many years experience. I think it says it all.

This is a tale about two college students Mark and Mickey. Mickey is a rather shy guy whilst Mark is a more worldly guy. We follow them as they meet in a coffee shop and forge a friendship which develops into more. What follows is the wonderful tale of there time together and the problems that they overcome.

A truly wonderful tale that I recommend as a fantastic read.

Response from the author:

Thank you very much for the glowing comment, Chris, and the good summation. I’m working on the final edit to another story that is fashioned around a subject that I know well, having spent a good part of my life doing it. See you then!
