A Journal of Anthro and Revelations

   (5 reviews)
Sub-genres: Drama, General Romance

This journal is supposed to help me get through life. Write what happened for the day, then reflect upon the words. Since I started my sophomore year in high school, it's become a daily activity. These entries certainly helped me through some bad times.

Let's hope college won't be as brutal. I guess I should put this away. Got a long drive ahead of me. It's move-in day! I'm praying my roommate won't be an asshole and make fun of my art.

A really fun short story. A lot of laughs. The main character's sense of humor is snarky and keeps you smiling throughout.  A couple of tough spots, but every story, even a short one, needs a little adversity.

Truly a great read. Well done Aaron. I hope we see these characters again.

Response from the author:

Thanks, K!!

Writing this was a breath of fresh air while I strugglebus through my next novel. I love Riv and Gav, so expect to see them again [at some point].

Something a little bit different from @astone2292

We have this truly wonderful story in diary format.

Without giving to much away, we have two college roomates who will have you laughing and crying from there antics. There are happy times and sad times within this short story.

It's comes highly recommended.

Response from the author:

Thanks so much, Chris!

The journal format was a blast, and I'll be revisiting it. It helped me hone on a character's attitude and nuances.

More of River and Gavin will come at some point.

Another great story in a list of great stories!  Written in the journaling format, this story was another "first"!  It is a great ride through college with all the struggles a lot of freshmen experience.  The main characters grab you and pull you into their world.  You experience a rollercoaster of emotions with this one ... absolutely captivating!!!  Highly recommend this amazing story!!!!

Response from the author:

Thanks, Patch!

Your comments make me smile. I'm thrilled that this story competes with In the Shadows and Cernunnos in your list.
