My First True Christmas

   (8 reviews)

It’s Thanksgiving and Tommy Weston is busy making out his Christmas list. It’s a rather lengthy list and there are several expensive items on it, but he knows his parents can afford to get him these things. He’s an only child, somewhat spoiled and maybe even a little greedy. He thinks the world revolves around him and expects to get nearly everything he wants. That’s until he meets Jason and learns about his life.

This is the second time that I've read this story and it's still as good a read as the first time. My own mum and dad were foster parents and this brings back some good cherished memories. would I recommend this story? Definitely.

A heartwarming Christmas tale showing that the true spirit of the season is helping out people who are less well off than yourself.

Outstanding story for the Holiday Season! Tommy’s parents had been teaching him to be more concerned about others than himself with minimal success. When he meets Jason in the mall, everything that he’d been taught made sense and he started making decisions about helping someone other than himself. This is a very powerful story that is appropriate for the time of year. Thanks Bill for an amazing story! 😃❤️

This is a story full of Christmas Spirit, you can't read it and not feel it, and I'm reading it in August!! Maybe that should tell us that we don't need Christmas to feel that good and this story really helps.

A lovely, well written, heartwarming story.

Seeing Tommy change as he gets to know Jason's story is great. This is the sort of story I would gladly give to an older teen/young adult to help show them why we need to think of others as well as ourselves. As the story shows, it is not always a person's fault when they end up in poor circumstances.

A beautifully written Christmas tale, with a moral embedded in it. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a Christmas story designed to make you feel good and get into the spirit of giving. It's nice to see a story with sensible, caring parents who try to instill the right principles in their son even though they spoil him too. Maybe they got just as good a Christmas present as Jason from Tommy's act of maturity.
