A powerful short on growing old, leaving one thinking of ‘what might happen’…

This story was highlighted in a recent post, so I decided to give it a read.  I’m glad it was mentioned, as I would likely never have stumbled upon it otherwise.  

This one makes you think and feel.  I know it will stick with me in a way most stories don’t. 

It isn’t a lighthearted read, but it is definitely worth your time!

A well written and touching tale of an octogenarian who'd moved to new home, and then while out for a walk suddenly realized that he  couldn't remember anything about his life.  Of course, there are extenuating factors involved, but I won't tell you what they are because I don't want to ruin the story for you.  However, it made it even more difficult for him, so what will happen now that he's lost in a big city?  

Carl does an excellent job of writing Charlie's story. I don't want to say too much about this wonderful short piece so as not to give it away, but do read it.
