This story is written as part of the site's White Elephant Prompt Present Game. The prompt read - “It’s yellow. So yellow. You look up, a smile pasted on your face. ‘I love it,’ you say, and his happy grin makes you….”
Anyone who knows me, knows this story came about due my love of Peanuts and the prompt saying the gift was yellow.
Daniel buys a gift for his uncle from the school holiday fair. When Bobby opens the gift, Daniel is one happy boy, but the rest of the family just sees a gift that is embarrassing for Bobby.
