I just finished this story last night.  For me a story holds value if I am willing to give up sleep to continue reading until I finish it.  Often while creating a story line some authors get into a situation where the story looses believability.  This story did not go there.  This could have been someones journal.  I say that because something very close to this story happened to me in the real world.  Sad to say I did not have the same very happy ending this story did. I have seen a number of gay students who have female friends and I loved that part of this story, again so real.  Gals like having gay male friend and engage in conversations about boys with them, again I know this first hand.  Great story, well written very believable.  I don't suppose every story has to be believable but it just so happens I like them that way.
