Long Day

Long Day is one of my first stories and follows Jake Tull who suffers from aphasia - which manifests in his being restricted to, mostly, repeating recorded words like song lyric. An all time favorite of mine.

Wow. What a cool flippin’ story.

Whenever I write using dialogue it seems to read back stilted, like a stodgy English butler speaking; yet here this awesome author has the lead character speaking naturally using only song lyrics. Good grief what a talent!

This story made me feel happy, over and over again.
