Life is messy and to borrow an old trope, it ain't like the Brady Bunch or Ozzie and Harriet as there are those who fall between the cracks and guardrails that are there to supposedly care for us.

There are a couple of old sayings that come to mind, sometimes your best effort is like pissing into the wind or shoveling shite against the tide, when faced with the improbable and unexplainable, what would you do???

From one of the best to grace these pages with their works, comes another well-crafted story that will make you think and wonder...what the heck did I just read???

Well written short about a truly heart wrenching subject.  Characters you can immediately care about, trying to deal with a situation, that to some degree has no winners.

Hard to read, but well worth the time.
