The island of Thermai is situated in the Aegean Sea of Earth Analogue IV, a few miles east of the coastline beyond which Mount Olympus lies. It may exist elsewhere. It is the home of thousands of boy dryads and their brother-protector, Lucas, inheritor of the Authorities and Attributes of Prometheus, an ancient titan. The date on Earth Analogue IV at the time Lucas’ arrived is equivalent to 1780 CE, although no one in this Earth Analogue uses that dating convention, but counts time since the Battle of Troy, the founding of Rome, or other ancient events.
