Bouquet of Poems - 3. My Dark Prince

I saw him the other day,
Amongst the tears and pains
He stood there, passive and still
Those black pools, long hair, pale face,
Everything pulled me towards him

After that I was never the same
I was the shark that had tasted blood
Every day, every night, I thought of him
I wanted him, even at the price of my life
I looked for him, yearned for him

I heard stories about him, false stories
He was another victim of man’s mind
They said he was cruel, pitiless
But all he did was to salvage
And I yearn for salvation

I found it- the love potion
Which will give me my Dark Prince
I’m going to be his
He’s going to be mine
We are going to be one, forever!

A great psychological story, all told in a modicum of words. Love it, including the slightly dark edges
