Do Humans really have a God Gene? Is there something that makes us experience emotions and have an imagination that separates us from all other animals? Would you want to know where it came from?

Gabe is a primatologist plagued by dreams about alien abduction. They wake him up at night and disturb not only his sleep but his partner's, and his scientific endeavors as well.

There are faint echoes of Sir Arthur C. Clarke in this wonderful tale. From the opening scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey to Childhood's End, and including one of my favorite short stories of all time: Reunion.

The author's imagination gifts us a science fiction yarn worthy of elaboration. Exploring the ancient questions of "Are we alone in the universe?" and "Why are we here?" the ending and implications left me wanting more. This is a gem worth reading.
