A truly touching story that leaves one wanting more. The good news is, there is indeed more. I entered the ‘Boot’ series late in the game. I’m very happy I came back to the beginning. You will be too, if you haven’t yet been exposed to it.

Fair warning, you’ll want to heed @Mancunian’s tissue warnings.

John is the primary featured character in The Boot series of stories.  Lost Souls-JohnChristian is his history from youth to his introduction the The Boot, a refuge for the homeless.  It is a compelling tale that stands alone, but one you will enjoy for all the sadness and success in John's early years.  I know if you read this you will probably want to read all the other wonderful stories about The Boot.
