Black Widow 16. Chronicles Of An Academic Predator (CAP)

   (3 reviews)

This story starts in June of 2003. The invasion of Iraq is over, George Bush has landed on the aircraft carrier and proclaimed "Mission Accomplished", and the insurgency has yet to begin. Some may think America is at the height of its power.

Meanwhile, in the CAP world:

JJ and Will, both in doomed relationships that seem to be working. Will they unravel, and if they do, who is behind it?

If you don't like reading about sex, especially between men, don't read this story.

Some real-life people and institutions are included in this story for historical context.  This story is fictional.  These people probably did not do the things I have them do.

User Feedback

To Timothy M, I think that is a very common traits among us - to be indulgent of the faults of those we love while being overly critical on those we do not. Honestly I loathed Matt in 9:11 and Flux. He is still not my favourite character and I have a hard time coming up with anything nice to say about him. The best I can do is that he is Robbie's son but then Robbie was not my favourite character either :P . It's just that having been in so many books I miss him once in a while.
Hopefully Mark will find some time soon to post another chapter. I find myself having JJ withdrawals which is wierd as I did not like him that much in the earlier books. But as I wrote in an earlier post, this book has really made shine. Given Marks previous posting schedule he must be super busy to be away for so long. Hope you are staying on top of things Mark!

Delighted you're back. . . you are like my morning coffee - I suppose I could live without it but my life is that much richer with your writing in it.

Thank you.

Glad to hear Mark is okay and to restart this saga. Any chance of getting a synopsis or a cast of characters and an update on the important ones so that we can fully appreciate what is happening now?
