Song For Guy by Mark 'Ponyboy' Peters

The new kid in town was quite the looker, but for Tim Patterson: gay, seventeen years old and single, he didn't think he'd stand a chance . . . even with his best mate, Ben Walker doing his best to interfere! What he didn't count on, however, was that the new kid in town had a secret of his own, and that the two of them were more alike than anyone could realise. And so it begins. Boy meets boy . . . and everything that they both hoped for looked like it was falling into place. Can they truly make it work? Can they avoid the pitfalls that seem to come with young love? Will they be able to find a way to work it all out?

Another "bonzer" tale of teenage discovery of love, sex and the impending responsibilities of adult life, this time told primarily throughout the eyes of Tim, a somewhat shy young 16/17 year old. He is joined on a 12 month trip through his life by his best friend and confidant, Ben, and Guy, the "new kid in town" to whom Tim is immediately attracted upon meeting.

Again a relatively small "cast" populate the landscape of this story with the three boys joined by Samantha, a delightful slightly older teenager to whom Ben is drawn.

The usual quality writing one has come to expect from @Mark Ponyboy Peters, with well written characters, a lot of humour and some heartbreak, and some very significant popular song contributions.

Response from the author:

@Summerabbacat thank you so much for your very kind words!

This is the wonderful story of Tim, a young gay man just going through the motions. Enjoying life with his best Mate Ben.

With no problem's in his life, until a new boy starts at school.

Can Tim navigate these problems, as they discover they are more alike than they both realise.

You need to read this amazing story to discover more about Tim's adventures.

Response from the author:

Thank you @chris191070. Very much appreciated.
