If you read this gripping, tough and wonderful story now, you are spared the suspense we had to endure while waiting for the next chapter to be posted.

It is one of the best stories I have read here on GA, and it is one which only its author could write.

It is tough as in what Matt has to go through.

Wonderful as in how it is told.

Response from the author:

Thank you, mayday. Your review is most kind. I am grateful for it and for your support throughout the posting of this story.  You know, there are many times I tell myself to stop writing, but I know I cannot. Not yet. And every day, I wake up and wonder how to do better. There's so much left to learn.  :) Thank you once again.  ❤️

I can't really add anything to all the previous reviews I just want to add another 5 star review so that when GA readers come across this story it will make them want to read this story.Taking such a ugly subject like human/sex trafficking and making this into a beautiful story is true talent.A story that needs to be read

Response from the author:

Thanks, wienerdog, for the kind review. I appreciate that you took the time to follow this story, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again.

"Beauty will save the world"

F. M. Dostoievsky 'Idiot'

After so many beautiful reviews by my GA friends, I was thinkig, what shell I say about this amzing story that is not already  said? Human traffiking is very heavy topic but, in @Mikiesboy's almost poetic style, focus is on healing! Healing of broken souls and hearts, healing the scars of past. And how - with the support of our families and those who love us.

@Mikiesboy is telling us that every human is capable of the best and the worst. He believes in second chances, and gives us hope! He believes in good in people!

@Mikiesboy will not save the world as nobody will, but he is going to make it much better place with his literature!

Response from the author:

Wow, thank you. What a kind review, Cane23. I do believe in second chances; you're right. There is always hope, even in the darkest of times. Thanks again for reading and following this story.  :)

Once again @Mikiesboy has written a story that drags you down to the depths of despair and then drags you back up to a redemption of sorts. This story will grip your heart as you join Matt in his nightmare and Andrew in his quest to bring him to safety and peace.

Sold Into Freedom shines a light onto Human Trafficking, those involved, its victims, and its survivors.

Response from the author:

Thank you for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed the story and appreciate you reading it.

If you know his other writings then you know you are in for a challenging, but ultimately rewarding read.  @Mikiesboy has come back with a journey into and out of a 21st-century Dante’s Hell. A hell in which there is no gratuitous violence, much of Matthew’s suffering is implied rather than described, which made it scarier, in a way, for me.

I had to take a short break but came back intrigued as to how things would turn out. You will be as well.

A triumph, nothing more, nothing less  Well done, this is a work of a mature writer.

Response from the author:

Thank you very much, Gary L.  I know parts of this were difficult enough without adding details. I always find our minds do a good enough job on their own. I appreciate your support of my writing, your time, and your friendship. :)

This story is gritty, hard hitting and heartbreaking.

We meet Matt, who is taken off the street and sold, into a world that no one should be forced to endure.

We meet Andrew a writer who has an interest in human trafficking and meets with the monsters, as he researches his next book.

You need to read this wonderful story from @Mikiesboy to discover how there paths cross.

Highly recommended

Response from the author:

Anxiousness ...

Impatience ...

Fear ...

Joy ...

Happiness ...

A beautiful rollercoaster of a tale!!!

I wish it never concluded  ...

However, a sequel may arise🤞

Response from the author:

Calvin, thank you for your kind review of my story. Wow, there are a number of you asking for more. I can only promise I will give it some serious consideration. I don't write many sequels often because they are not usually as good as the first, but I will think about it. Thank you again for reading this story and for your input.  It's much appreciated.

This is a fascinating story, well told. You will learn about the pain of human trafficking and the path a survivor, Matt, takes when first helped to be free by a kind hearted man , Andrew, who is taken by him from the start. Luck, interested, well meaning  people and resilient spirits who keep on going play a part. There are twists and turns and the hope for end is not certain till the last chapter. Please read how these individuals live their lives and take on important challenges.

Response from the author:

Thank you for your kind review. I appreciate that you read this story and followed it to the end. Thank you very much.

This is a story that should not be missed.

@Mikiesboy has woven a masterpiece.

I love being engrossed by a plot and this one fits the bill. It's oftentimes sad, but yet hopeful.

It's hard to imagine a life lived in the dark underbelly of society, but Tim brings it to the forefront of the story with grace and tact.

Congratulations on a truly amazing piece of literature.

Response from the author:

Thank you, Alexmugs. I appreciate the kind review. I'm happy to know the story worked so well for you. Thank you for investing your time and thoughts. 💜

Gritty. Hard hitting. Heartbreaking.

Triumphant.

There really aren't enough words to describe the gamut of emotions this story takes you through.

Right from the get-go, Matt finds himself thrown into a world no one should endure.

Andrew is a fairly successful journalist who decides to leave the safety of his normal genre to delve into a dark industry.

Follow along as @Mikiesboy leads us on a quest find out what happens when their paths cross.

This is an extremely well-written story. Tim has masterfully crafted his words to make sure the readers are emotionally invested.

Kudos, my friend 🩷

Response from the author:

Thanks @kbois.  I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Your help as editor made it better than it was; thanks again.

You couldn't ask for much more in a story than Sold Into Freedom offers.  It's gritty, and hard to read sometimes.

Matt is taken off the street, sold and then auctioned to the highest bidder. His life is then one over which he has little control. There are some bright spots in the people he meets. Some who genuinely care, and some who do not.

Andrew is a writer with interest in human trafficking. He meets with the monsters while researching his new book.

To understand how these two lives come together, you need to read this wonderful, challenging story to the very satisfying end.

Response from the author:

Thank you, Michael, for the thoughtful review. Much appreciated.
