From the very first book of this story,  Book 1: "Never Too Late to Change" until the end of Book 3: "Never Too Late to Believe" I have been pulled into it after the very first chapter and then deeper as the other chapters passed by. Excellent story that has been well written. I really hated for it to end. I am really hoping that @northieafter a time will give us an update on the life of Eric and the other great characters of Andy, Adam, Rob, and even Tyler. Another Book 4. would be even better.

I really do highly recommend this heartwarming story. This is the first of @northieI have read and look forward to reading a lot more of his work.

Eric - a cantankerous old git, Andy & Adam - a soon to be married couple, Rob - a very old work colleague of Eric who he hasn't seen in years. These are the ingredients that make for a great story. There's misunderstandings (plenty of those), anger, fear and most of all LOVE!

I've followed Eric's journey right from the start (which is where you need to go if you've not read any of it before) and it's a rollercoaster that @northietakes you, the reader, along for the ride.

Once you start I bet you won't be able to put it down!

Response from the author:

'A cantankerous old git'? 👀 That's a bit mean.🤨😄 Eric may start out like that but he does have his redeeming qualities.  Thank you for making the journey together with characters who are close to my (and many other) heart(s).

A great story with real characters - the story developed the characters perfectly.  Well done!

It's all over way too soon! Lol. (if you could call 28 chapters "too soon"!!!) I could have read the same again, as long as the integrity of your story & writing weren't compromised just to create "output" for "good for nothings like" me to read & be thoroughly entertained by. Can't wait for another book to begin! "stories" would be a poor (& insulting a) description for your  work.

THANK YOU!!

Response from the author:

!00K words in this book alone? 🤨😄 That you felt they slipped past so easily is a great compliment. Thank you.
