Fates Mates & Pirates - 38. Chapter 38

We awoke the next morning before the sunrise and I hit the button to open the window coverings. Adam rolled and wrapped his arm around my chest from behind as he leaned up on one elbow. Placing his head on my shoulder.

“You want to watch the sunrise, baby?” Adam asked.

“With you Adam. Always with you.” He kissed my neck as he watched with me. The sky was getting brighter, and the colors were changing. We could no longer see the twin moons we made love under last night. That was the best thing about the Hanging Suites. Ours was a crystal clear armorplas tube. Designed so we could see out there through the sides away from the mountain, both above and below us. You could not see out the ends of the tube like the bubble. That meant we couldn’t see the suites next to us, but we could watch the stars and valley below. It just so happened that last night it was clear and we not only saw the twin moons, but now the sun, Kusama Prime, was rising. I watched as the clouds in the distance changed colors in the advancing rays of light. Adam had rubbed my stomach and chest before his hand drifted lower and began stroking my cock as he kissed my neck. I moaned as I pushed myself back into him. His hard dick is in my crack.

“Do it Adam. Enter me.” I said, as I heard the top pop on a bottle of lube. I pulled my leg up and lifted it so he had clear access to my hole.

“It is my turn, I believe.” I chuckled as I rasped out.

“Yes. I believe it is.” He adjusted himself as he lubed my hole. His arms shifted again, holding me tight as he slid into me slowly while I took deep breaths to help myself handle the burning fullness of his dick stretching me. Stopping, he kissed my neck.

“OK, baby?” I nodded as I tried to push back onto him and he started to slowly thrust into my ass. We were both breathing heavily as the sun rose with our orgasms and he dropped down behind me. “Love you, Marc.”

“Love you more, Adam.”

Breakfast was good. Mike informed me that Ryan and his team had arrived on the 07:00 Gondola, bringing up the work crews and early guests that were registered for today. We excused ourselves as we went to talk to him. He was all smiles as we approached and introduced his mate Vinny to us. He was going to be Mike’s coach for today’s flight. Asking about the weather, he smiled again.

“The first run should be perfect. The second, if we go, will be a more technical challenge as the storm moves in. We’ll have to see,” He stated as we helped them grab the gear and head out to where we would assemble it for our flight.

As we unpacked everything, I noticed the slight smile trying to lift Ryan’s lips as we started putting together the two Hang Gliders. We were stretching out the fabric. I froze. I studied the material in front of me, then looked over at Mike’s Glider. He was red, just like the first one I used yesterday. My second was yellow, but this morning mine was black and appeared to have a design on it. Ryan had a look as he continued to place the struts in order and work the fabric on them. I shrugged and continued to help. We saw the ski group hiking over with Bella, Adam and Taylor splitting off to visit us before they set up. Bella was looking at the fabric too as she approached, and I saw her and Ryan exchange a glance that spoke volumes. Something was going on. Bella said something to Adam quietly before he came over to say good luck and gave me a kiss before heading off to the skier’s departure area. As we finished the frame, I moved back to look at the design that was red over black. They added a set of bear's jaws on the nose and claws further out on the wings. I stood back and snorted. Then my body shook as the pressure built with the laugh that consumed me. Ryan, Vinny, and their team were all smiling as I turned to them.

“I guess there will be no doubt now who is chasing the skiers down the slope.” Ryan slapped me on the back.

“Let’s pull up the latest winds and thermals. I think you’ll need to fly fast today. I hear the skiers are planning for a good run.” I grinned as I looked on at Vinny and Mike. Ryan pointing out the different areas we might have trouble. I was ready as I glanced across at my mate and he was in the huddle with the rest of the skiers. It looked like they were a sports team. They even went for the high five as they broke apart, taking their positions. I watched as we clicked on the harness. Ryan was watching, too.

“What are they up to, I wonder?” I asked out loud. Ryan snorted.

“After seeing the holovids, they decided they were too easy on us.” I grinned as I looked at Ryan’s face. He had a smirk that told me they wouldn’t get away with it. I let my predatory grin slip out.

“Really. That sounds like a challenge.” He shook his head in the affirmative.

“It does, doesn’t it?” He adjusted his face piece and was looking out over the valley and down the slope. I could tell he was looking at the heads up display. Checking the thermals and winds. I adjusted my controls so I could see the overlay too. Vinny called over. The skiers were ready. Ryan told them they could go first and to signal the skiers we were ready. We watched as the skiers pushed off to start their run. I smiled as I watched Mike and Vinny take off in pursuit. They followed the standard route. Out and around before coming in to zig zag behind the skiers. We watched as the ski team split into two groups.

“Adam went left.” I said, as Ryan nodded.

“They changed jackets?”

“Yeah. They are all in yellow now. One of our security is picking up his black jacket.”

“Then let’s see if we can get their attention.” We ran, and I lifted as Ryan jumped us and we were airborne. We did the usual swing out, but then stayed out as Ryan brought us into a thermal that gained us a little altitude before we started our dive towards the group that split off. We watched as both teams were watching to see if I was following them or not. Finally, it was apparent that the team on the left was the one I was chasing. They were trying hard to outrun us as we swooped out repeatedly directly over top of them. We fell in behind them for a few zig zags as we contemplated their moves and ours, but the bottom was coming up fast and our time was almost done. Just like our trip, three more days and we would head home. I was saddened, as this was the most fun, I’ve had in years. I watched as the team we were chasing was slowing, and I could see the other team approaching. We swung out again, and Vinny followed us out and around as we watched the two teams meld back together to enter the base area as one group. We had a few more spectators today as we circled, and I dropped us right down near Adam. As our feet touched the ground, he came running over again. I was faster this time as he grabbed me up in his arms for a kiss and spin.

“How did you know which way I went?” Adam asked when he put me down. I leaned in close and whispered.

“Because Adam. I am your monster. I always know where my mate is.” He kissed me again as he mumbled.

“Monster.”

“Yes Adam. Your monster. Now we need to wave goodbye to everyone.” I said as I pulled away and walked him towards the descending shuttle as we waved to everyone. The shuttle dropped down above the snow with its ramp deployed and we boarded it. The shuttle ramp closed, and we lifted off, heading back to orbit supposedly.

“Are we leaving already?” Adam asked.

“We are leaving the base area. The shuttle is going to swing around and drop us over in the departure area on top. I just needed the shot for our holovid. I asked Taylor and Mike to bring our gear back up.”

“You truly are a monster. One last hurrah for the Link Cast News?”

“Sort of. Just saying goodbye to everyone. Bella’s idea for a title was good and I am going to use it.” I responded as I held Adam tight against me. Feeling the shuttle descend again, I tapped the controls to open the ramp. When we hovered in place, Adam and I dropped out to the ground and hiked back up to the mountain resort to wait for everyone else.

Adam

It was one last run down the mountain. Marc didn’t come down. He gathered all our gear from the suite and brought it down on the gondola with Taylor and Mike’s gear. He made Mike go ahead with the second glider flight and I was dressed differently this time. You couldn’t tell it was me unless. Like Marc. If you knew me well enough to be able to pick me out of the crowd. The winds were picking up and the run down was more challenging. It wasn’t as much fun as when Marc was chasing us down, but he has other plans for our departure, I am sure. We had already said goodbye to everyone before the run started, and I am unsure if Bella is flying back to the cabin with us or not. Deep down, I don’t want to leave, but I do want to disappear with Marc. He has been so happy and loving, not that he isn’t always loving, but without the pressure of everything else, he’s shown me the real Marc that’s not carrying the weight of the universe. We should have plenty of work when we return that will need our attention and, of course, there are the children. Marc was right. We should have waited a year or two before having them gestated. I can see that now, but it was my own insecurities that made me push the point, and Marc did what he needed to do to help me. Even hearing William apologize didn’t matter as much as Marc holding me in his arms, telling me he loved me. But he has a plan for the kids. He created the group of people that will help us raise them. Just another reason why I love Marc. He makes sure we are protected and cared for. He’s doing the same for the children. He knows what life is like in the Corporation and its demands. I really didn’t until I met him. My parents, well, my mother really, tried to keep me out of the day-to-day operations. She thought it was beneath us. Marc’s family has always involved him in most of what they are doing, hence why he could sit on the Captain’s Board for his first Star at age 16. Now he holds the rank of a Five Star Admiral. He wasn’t given it, he earned it. Hard work, good people under his command, good strategy, and good luck. I came to a stop as the rest of the skiers gather around me and there he is walking across the snow. He has his favorite coat on. One I have only seen him use twice. It’s a heavy black wool long coat. His head was covered with a heavy wool ski cap. He has the front open, which makes it flap in the heavier winds we are having now that the storm is moving in. He even put on his black leather insulated gloves to complete the look. Mike had already landed and had their hang glider broken down for transport as they landed early. He was walking over towards Taylor. I turned back to find Marc walking right into my arms.

“Have fun, love?” he asked. I kissed his neck.

“It was good. Not as good as when you’re chasing me.” He snorted and snuggled into me.

“Unfortunately, we need to leave. Let’s turn in your equipment.” I just tensed slightly. I could already hear the change in his voice. The business mode is turning back on. I finally kissed the tip of his nose as he took my hand to lead me over to Bella. She was waiting for us to follow her over to the equipment facility. She hugged Marc and held him tight before she hugged me.

“I had so much fun. I am sorry you only have a few more days before you need to leave.” She said to us as we walked. Marc spoke before I could.

“Unfortunately, we have much waiting for us when we return, including two little ones who have probably noticed we haven’t seen them in a few days. You are always welcome to come visit when you are ready. You can stay in our home with our Marines in the house.” I squeezed his hand and smiled.

“I am working on doing just that.” She replied with a smile. Marc released my hand and slid it around to rest on my lower back as we stepped into line to check in the skis, poles and helmets. His hand gently rubbed my lower back, which was causing my underwear to feel tighter as I shifted my body closer to his.

“Are you coming back to the cabin with us, Bella?” She turned.

“I think I will. I’ll leave after dinner as I have a project to check on tomorrow morning. And thank your Marines for me. I hear they dropped in with full Powered Armor and did some tree removal for us.” I laughed as Marc dipped his head.

“They didn’t scare the neighbors, did they, Bella?” I asked as we headed for the landing pad as I saw Marc tapping out commands on his Link. She laughed that time and shook her head no.

“They were perfect guests. They noticed a problem and helped our staff solve the issue. Had fun doing it too, I hear.” Marc chuckled as he shook his head.

“I bet they needed every Marine on the ships to come down and help. Didn’t they?” She gave him a crooked grin.

“As a matter of fact. I believe they did.” This made Marc’s chuckle turn into an outright laugh. Then I heard the sound of our shuttles coming in behind us for landing. I felt Marc tense as he stopped laughing.

Marc

I was still laughing when I heard the shuttles dropping down. It was like ice water being poured on my head, making my body tense. Time to leave. I sighed inwardly as we walked to the landing pads. Adam tried to hold me tighter, but he knows. Even Bella’s demeanor changed at the sound. I watched as the two shuttles touched down before I nodded to our staff to start boarding. Bella was saying goodbye to her family and friends before she joined us in boarding. One shuttle was headed back to the ship, the other was taking us back to Bella’s family’s cabin. I sat down heavily as we took our seats with my head back against the headrest. Adam and Bella were talking about coming back again, as well as the best times of the year to come. We were just starting to have fun, too. That is going to be put on hold for a few years until the children get older. I probably shouldn’t have given in to Adam and had the two gestated. We would have been so much better off waiting another year or two. Regardless, I love Adam and my two children in the tanks. Next month there will be a family gathering to observe the decanting of Jasmine and Joachim. And yes, they are twins. Something we decided when we had them created. I am extremely happy about that. Well, the arrival of the kids, anyway. I could do without the families being there until we have settled into a routine with them. I have already stated there will be no newsies allowed or any Link Cast release of any kind. Our children will not be available for public display. A fact that Adam is very much on board with. Of course, there is the Corporation, the House and the Five Sectors. All of which are just starting and expanding at an exponential rate. In a year, if I follow the plan, we will have tripled the size of the House as it stands now. I don’t know if Adam is ready for that or not. He has been doing a fantastic job so far. We shall see if he can maintain it as we grow. Then there is all of my outlying projects. All of which will be drawn into the House and Corporation at the appropriate time. In 20 years, no other corporation will be able to touch us technology wise.

I smiled as I felt Adam’s hand cover mine. “You OK baby.” He whispered close to my ear.

“I am. Did you figure out when we are coming back?” His hand tightened on mine.

“It probably won’t be until next year.” I just nodded. He’s starting to understand now that it wasn’t a good idea to have the kids so soon. He loves’s them though, just as much as I do. We will adapt.

“Adam.”

“Yes Marc.” I smiled as I turned to look at him.

“I love you. Don’t ever forget that.” I tapped his ring as I said it. He lowered his head to mine and brushed my lips with his.

“I love you too, Marc.” His thumb was rubbing across my knuckles. He knew I was thinking. He knows I am changing back to my all business mode that I live in. And it will remain for a while, I guess, until the next time we come out and play. We have another day at the cabin before I need to think about departing for home. I took a deep breath and leaned in to kiss him slowly, with love. I pulled away.

“Thank you for bringing me here to visit Bella. I’ll have to see if I can create a ski area in one of the parks at the base.” I smiled as he started to laugh.

“You would try that, wouldn’t you?” Adam asked between chuckles.

“I actually thought I would ask Bella. She knows how mountains work.” His eyes lit up.

“Maybe. That would be interesting. We don’t have any skiing close to us. Can I ask her?” I shrugged.

“If you want.” He kissed me before he turned back to Bella. I rested my head back again, looking forwards. I heard them talking for a few minutes before I felt eyes on me. I smiled and brought my head up, turning towards them. Adam had a big smile, and Bella had a questioning look.

“Yes Bella. Do you think you could do it?” She thought it over.

“Possibly. Could you send me the specs of one of the parks?” Bella asked. I looked at Adam.

“That’s your department, dear. Do we have the information she needs?” He thought it over and nodded.

“I believe we do. And I think we have the capability of segregating all the parks to adapt them to different environments.” My lips puckered as I thought that over.

“Then could we turn one into an alpine winter wonderland complete with four seasons? Use it for winter recreation and summer recreation. Turn it into a resort of sorts?” Bella’s eyes went wide.

“You probably could. If you have that type of control over the environmental aspects. You're not kidding, are you Marc?” I snorted.

“Nope.” I drew out the ‘o’ and ‘p’ when I said it. “If you think it could be done, I want to do it in a way that makes it a credit maker, not a credit burner for the House. Let’s examine it. I would like to keep it greened, but if we decide it is better, go full arctic.” I spread my hands, then dropped them back onto my armrests. “I’ll put you on as a consultant and have your Five Sectors Credentials sent to you so you can enter and leave as you please.” Both Adam’s and her eyes went wide as I finished speaking. I felt us coming in for landing. “We can discuss this over lunch, I presume?” Adam smiled as he reached for my hand.

“You’re making it harder for me to stay away.” Bella said as I let the twinkle form in my eyes and I gave her an innocent look.

“You should probably run it past your specialist and she what she thinks.” She snorted.

“I think you know more than she does.” I gave her a dip of my head before I responded.

“About dealing with pain. Yes Bella. I, unfortunately, have a lot of experience with that.” I felt Adam tense and focused on him. “I’m fine baby. I’m just stating a fact.” My eyes left Adam’s and locked in on Bella’s. “And you never stop feeling the pain, you just learn to live with it.” Her eyes started to glisten as I reached across and took her hand. “It’s hard Bella. But you’re doing good. I had my own helpers. Several of them, in fact, and plenty of work to do besides before I returned to get Adam. Then we had our moments where I cried at him and he cried at me. We are here now, Bella. And we will be at Serenity Base when you need us.” Adam slipped an arm across her shoulders and pulled her in close as she put her head against him and the tears started.

We had landed, and I stood, telling everyone to depart. Then I told the pilots to shut down. We were going to be a few minutes. I kneeled down in front of Bella and took her in my arms. She cried on my shoulder for 10 minutes before I felt her breathing even out and she wiped her tears off her face as she pulled back.

“Thank you both. I think you know, Marc, how much that means to me.” She said. I just nodded and stood. Holding out a hand to her. I helped her up and the three of us walked off the shuttle. To be surrounded by our Marines. Bella smiled. “You have them well trained.”

“We’ve had a discussion or two about my needs and what I expect of them. I am judged by their actions, after all.” She was walking between Adam and me. Turning her head towards Adam, she spoke.

“You really have the best Mate I’ve ever met, Adam.” I smiled as Adam agreed with her before she turned back to me. “They were the best on the trip home. Everyone was very happy with them.” I nodded.

“As I should expect from our Marines. They were briefed before I sent them to Adam. Before you boarded the ship.” We walked into the cabin and headed for the terrace in the rear. That appeared to be where lunch was being served.

“You had Adam briefed too?”

Adam responded. “He had a team working on the best way to bring everyone home. Including the route we would take.”

“Does he have a team working on everything?” I snorted at the same time as Adam.

“Yes. I do actually. I don’t have time to do everything.”

She laughed. “OK. Send me the information and we’ll see if it can be done.” I smiled as a staffer approached with a tablet and handed it to Adam. He tapped out a few messages and shut it down as we sat to eat. By the time we were done, he had the information and handed the tablet over to Bella. She looked through it and gasped.

“I didn’t know it was that big.” I nodded.

“The top level is only for us, our marines, family, friends and staff. Center level is going to be the main offices of the House and the Five Sectors. Industrials will be on 4 and 5. We have the bottom as a training area, but that could move. Make that area into a resort. I could enlarge it a little. Probably make it another 500 meters deeper and another kilometer or two in diameter. Increasing the diameter will be harder, though. Maybe If it was in the center level, we could move the offices to a lower level. I can’t make that one larger, but it is 38 kilometers in diameter.” I could see she was doing some numbers in her head as she looked over the size of the lower level.

“You could make some changes and create your own mini alpine range in here with a Hanging Suite resort on top.” I smiled at Adam as his eyes went wide.

“Just think, dear. You could teach me and the kids to ski right at home.” He moved around and hugged me from behind.

“You are always full of surprises, and we could make credits with it, too.”

I sighed, “Yes, but with high security. It will be expensive to come ski with us. We’ll have to set up a ship like Vanguard of Serenity to bring people in from one of the outer stations. I don’t want just anyone flying around the Reserve’s.” Bella looked up again and smiled.

“We could build another one or two for you.” She said. I winked at her, and Adam chuckled.

“He knows already. He was planning on it for Bella. Looks like you just got a contract for two more.” Adam stopped as I held up my hand. “Better make it three. I need a clone of Vanguard of Serenity for other uses.” Adam raised an eyebrow at me. I just lifted one side of my mouth as I continued to speak. “My mate likes to try to surprise me, Bella. If I give him another custom yacht, he might just be able to do it. Besides. I could use it for diplomatic missions and just keep ‘VoS’ as our personal yacht.” Adam smacked my arm as he smiled at Bella.

“He loves you, Adam, and you love him. It’s so refreshing to be around.” She said as she continued to look at the specs. Dropping in notes as a priority message popped up on her Link. She looked down at it and her eyes went wide before she hugged me again. “You’re something else. When did you tell them that?” She asked as I shrugged.

“I am a monster, after all. I have my ways.” She kissed my cheek before she hugged Adam after she showed him her new Fives Sector’s Credential’s with Diplomatic Immunity attached. When she returns, she will need to sit one of our introduction classes to understand all the regulations and protocols that we have enacted since we took over. I think she’ll find it very enlightening. I smiled as I rose to leave. Adam gave me a questioning look.

“I’m going to make sure our gear is here and change into something more comfortable for the lake.” He grinned.

“OK.” He spoke softly to Bella, and she nodded, jumping up and heading for her suite. He took my hand, and we walked up to our suite together.

15 minutes later, we exited the building just as Bella came up behind us with the tablet still in her hands. Adam put an arm across her shoulders to guide her so she wouldn’t trip on the uneven ground. A staff member took us down to the lake on a gravlifter. I grabbed chairs and towels with the help of two of our off duty Marines. I thanked them for the assist as I set up our spot and Adam maneuvered Bella into one before we headed to the water. I stepped in and shivered. It was cold. Very cold. I looked around at our Marines and they had no trouble. I took a few deep breaths to oxygenate my blood and dove into the ice-cold water. I came up and Adam popped up right behind me and wrapped me in his arms.

“Cold baby?” I asked, and he snorted.

“Yes. Just like you.” I chuckled as I dropped under the water again, pulling him with me. We played for about 10 minutes before we headed back to the beach and Bella. She was talking on her Link and waved us over as we approached. She was discussing her thoughts with her uncle as we sat down. Another staffer had arrived with a larger tablet and she thanked them as she brought it to life and transferred her work to it from our smaller one. 10 minutes later, she said.

“Come on. You have to see this in a larger size.” She waved, and a gravlifter landed next to us. Jumping on, we lifted back to the cabin where she took us into an office we didn’t know about and brought a Holotable to life. I watched as the vision she was creating came to life. I smiled as I walked around the table with Adam, looking at it from different angles. It looked interesting, to say the least. We could get a nice ski run in there with everything from our Hanging Suites Resort to multiple ski runs from green diamond to double black diamond.

“Is this with or without enlarging the space?” I asked. Bella just shook her head as she taped out some more commands and the table shifted to show another view alongside the original.

“The first is without and the second is with lowering the floor a few hundred meters.” I smiled as we circled it again. I looked at Adam. He was fascinated by the whole thing.

“What types of capacity do they have?” She smiled.

“That really depends on what you want. If you keep it high end. You could put between 600 to 1000 people comfortably on the slopes. Assuming you had a nice mix of skier levels. You can only put about a hundred cycling through on any one run at a time. If you go lower end pricing, you could triple the number of people. It all depends on what you want to do.” I looked at Adam again and he was thinking and then he leaned into me.

“High end. Nice selection of stores. A chocolate shop.” I laughed.

“Coco monster.”

He smiled as he kissed my head. “Yes.” Bella chuckled.

“You two are made for each other. High end it is.” Smiling I spoke again.

“Good. When can you start building it?”

She just looked at me. “You want me to go back with you. Don’t you?” I moved away from Adam and took her in my arms.

“I think you need to. Don’t you?” She held me tight as she sobbed again while nodding her head. Adam came over and wrapped his arms around both of us as he said.

“I’ll forward everything to Tabat and let him know we are changing the base around again.”

“Thank you dear.” Bella pulled back and sighed.

“You’re right Marc. Some of the best times of my life have been while I was crying.” I smiled as I kissed the top of her head.
