Tragedia Et Amor - 34. Chapter 34

It has been three weeks, and it’s Friday, the first day of October 2010. The house is not finished, but good enough for us to move into. We have taken the final steps in Galveston. Turning everything over to the general managers. Last weekend, we went down to Port Aransas to visit with everyone and say goodbye. Aiden was surprised we pushed up the date for our move, as Quinn has kept him informed. The farewell party was smaller than the last one, but we haven’t been around for almost a year, aside from work trips and coming down to visit Quinn’s family. I was taking one last look around the Galveston home and walked out onto the upper deck off the bedroom to view the marina and channel. It was a bittersweet moment as a tear slipped down my face before my hand swiped at it. I felt the arms engulf me in the hug as my two husbands joined me.

“Did you ever think it would end like this? That we would leave the home we built to go across the country to be with our other two loves? To build another home for us?” Quinn asked. I sighed softly.

“No. I never thought I would have four husbands, let alone even one.” I was searching for the words and they let me. I felt the lips press against my cheek as Tanner kissed me. Returning his head to my shoulder. “It’s time to go home now. To join our other two husbands and build the life we want for each other in Provincetown. In the meantime. I want to bring our husbands down for Thanksgiving with your family. Mom and grandma are going to fly out to us for Christmas for a few days. And we’ll take life one day at a time.” My husbands kissed me before I took one last look around at the facility I designed and built before I led my husbands to the waiting limousine that would take us to the airport.

The moving company had the boxes of items we were taking and should be at the house in two days as they left 4 days ago. My truck left yesterday on a car hauler with two other vehicles and should arrive in 5 days, maybe four. It has two drop offs and a pickup before my truck arrives. It’s going to see states I’ve never been to. That made me laugh to myself. My boats were loaded on trailers I bought and they were also on their way. They will arrive on Monday morning. I had to have a crew ready when they did to float the boats off and move the trailers to Jules’ property. The flight itself was good. I had the charter for this, as we had three suitcases each and multiple other bags. It just made sense, and I wanted to get there without the luggage getting lost by a commercial airline. In Barnstable, we off loaded our luggage, and I waited as my two husbands were whisked off in a hired car to pick up their new cars. In an hour, they were back with the new Subaru and the Toyota Sequoia. I smiled as I looked the cars over and the happy expressions on my two husbands. Tanner led the way, and I rode with Quinn. Taking 6a to the house. Only to find we were not alone there. Ryan and Jules were waiting for us. Unpacking had to wait as we made love to our husbands before having lunch. Which were the pizzas they had brought.

“You’re happier than seeing our entire family together dictates you should be. Why?” Asked Quinn. Jules looked at me closely and slowly nodded his head as he picked up something different as well.

“It’s dividend day for one of my stocks.” I said as Quinn tilted his head with squinted eyes. His fingers made a motion that I continue. “It was higher than expected. A few of my projects are going to be pushed forwards.” I looked at Tanner. “More work for you.” His grin made it quite clear. As long as he was doing something I wanted, he would be happy. Something not lost on Jules.

It was after dinner that we had the first full family talk in months. Everyone was asked how they felt now. Now meaning that we had made the move to Provincetown. There was the general happiness of being close, but there was an underlying hesitation. I moved my chair back and patted my lap for Ryan. He moved swiftly, just like Tanner would have, to sit and snuggle against me.

“Now Ryan. How do you want to handle yourself as part of our family? Are you going to live here? Live at your place?” He knew what I was asking. I knew what I thought his answer was.

“I would like to stay here a few times a week when I can, but taking care of the property and grandma takes up a lot of my time. The best part is all of you are here now and makes things easier.” He said. We knew that already. I reached out and lifted his chin off my shoulder and kissed him. Slow and passionate, just the way he likes it.

“That is what I thought. And with us so far away at the moment, it’s not easy to just sneak over for a quickie hug or more.” I said as I held him tight before I kissed him softly again. “We’ll have planning sessions in a few weeks to design the new house. The door will always be open to you when you want to be there.” I finished. He moved back to his seat at my urging before I motioned for Jules. He’s figured out he has to sit a certain way to keep his full weight off my left leg. He smiled broadly as he rested his chin on my head. My huff in amusement made him lift it up and smile down at me. It was actually odd for him to be on my lap, as he was just as tall, but bulkier. I think he has 20 pounds on me.

“And as we know, you have to stay at your house most of the time because of the strays you are bringing in and are part of your family. Has anything changed on that front?” I asked before he kissed me. He was just as passionate as Ryan was. It was a shift that occurred after I let the two of them fuck me. His tongue took one last swipe at my lips before he spoke softly to me. Loud enough that the others heard, but he was directing it at me.

“With you here, I have unburdened access to my husbands. You are correct, I may not be here every night. Or every week, but I can now see my husbands whenever I want because they are here in town and not across the country.” He said. Looking around at everyone before he leaned in and kissed me again. I sent him back to his seat as we discussed some of the projects that were going to happen around here.

It was the beginning of November and I had the new property for the house under contract. Just waiting until the closing next week. The house’s preliminary design came back from the architects. We were working on the changes we wanted to it as they didn’t get our vision completely. That’s not unusual as it took us 7 revisions before the Galveston property’s plan was approved. Ryan was snuggled into my side as he looked on at the design I had pulled up on my laptop. His hand was gently stroking my cock. Quinn was smirking on the other side of the table as Tanner tried to hide his smile. I knew. They knew. Ryan likes to be placed on the table like Tanner does for blow jobs. Unlike Tanner. He can actually take my cock in its entirety down his throat and if the timing is right between his breaths, I can shoot directly down the pipe without him needing to swallow. Something we both have found rather enjoyable.

I had flipped to the email as my track pants were pulled open and a hand pulled out my hard cock. To be followed with the tongue teasing my slit before I was licked like a lollipop. Causing me to moan as I pushed the laptop to the side.

“Fine. Up with you, Ryan.” He hopped up on the table that Jacob built for us. He was naked as Tanner was. That glorious fat shower he has for a cock flopped across his hip. I reached down to hold his neck as my other hand guided my cock into his mouth. Once my hand was free, I reached out to grip his cock. Stroking it slowly before I released it. Letting it lay on his stomach. My eyes shifted. To Quinn and then to Tanner before they pointed looked at Ryan again.

“Tanner. Up on top,” Quinn said as he stood to get lube. Returning, he lubed Tanner’s ass and then Ryan’s cock and his. In less than a minute. Ryan was being spit-roasted ass Tanner rode on his dick. This isn’t the first time we tested the carrying weight of this table. Just like the table in our Texas homes. Jacob custom built this with people getting fucked hard on top of it. Rumor has it he tested it with Alan. Which I could believe as I’ve seen the looks they give each other.

After dinner, I had dropped into the hot tub. Since me and my other husbands had some private time already today. It was not surprising that Jules was alone with me in the hot tub when he arrived after dinner. Nor was it a surprise when he sucked me off after massaging my leg or that he was railed against the side of the tub as we were getting out. My addition to the glass enclosure was a good choice to provide warmth in the winter and privacy year round. Jules was then attached to my side for the rest of the evening before he went home to his family. I made it a point to sit on the couch and let him sprawl over my body. Holding him tight to me with occasional whispered words of love and he was such a good boy. That still saddened me he couldn’t stay, but was what he needed to do on his crusade to help the strays and provide a workforce for the businesses of Provincetown. Once the house is built, he could stay longer, possibly more over nights as we would be just a few 100 feet down the trail. Sandwiched between his property and Ryan’s. And that was another issue. Agnes fell. It has just come to my attention that this is the third time in a year. Luckily it was only a sprained wrist, but… at 73 years old, it’s not good that she fell at all. The doctor suggested physical therapy to help her learn to balance again and walking. I was surprised at first until I thought about it. My grandmother did the same thing after a fall a few years ago and I remember her saying she felt better about walking as they made her do things she normally wouldn’t have to. One item was like the tires on the ground you have to run through. They use rings and you need to walk down the line without stepping outside a ring. The rings were placed in odd positions to make it look like you were walking through a crowd. Slight steps to the left, back to the right. She thought it was fun.

The holiday season has passed, and it is frigging cold up here. To us Texan’s anyway. Construction has started, and I was happy about that. Mom and grandma stayed for three days and loved Jules and Ryan. Mom held them especially tight. No different than she does for Quinn and Tanner. Quinn, Tanner, and I had a discussion about the honeymoon. After their shocked looks, they reacted like I did. At least it made me feel a little better about not thinking about it myself. It was still no excuse. I stepped back and let the two of them plan something. Like Quinn said. I had too much on my plate. I froze, spending until the next dividends drop. I had 6 million in reserves, but I had plans for that money. Jules and Ryan were planning the summer and had interviews already. It was a good enough idea that Quinn and I did a little checking around under the auspices of the Foundation for college students in marine programs to come work with us this summer. That presented another problem of housing as I didn’t want to house them in the house. My property in Truro, an old seasonal hotel, was under renovations and probably would only be 50 percent complete. Jules had dibs on those rooms as he had the town organized to hire people he brought in specifically for the jobs available. I held my Jules tight one night after sex and he told me about his idea and I took a jump of faith in my town bad boy and gave him the nod. Jacob was in the process of fixing up the old barn to use as his shop. He was making custom designed furniture. I talked him into making a few of his designs as floor models and he was going too. He also reached out to the Amish community and had them cutting wood to his specifications. Jules asked me to fund that and I did. He was over taxed as it was and one bad day would bring his little empire crashing down until I started teaching him the basics of investment and return on investment. Just like Eric did for me.

Quinn and I took a pedicab… aka Tanner, as he worked for Jules part time, around town. He was thinking we did it just to watch his butt as he pedaled before we started stopping to look at houses in the old section of town. The idea was a small dilapidated building that we could turn into a bunk house for our people. Under Tanner’s watchful eye. We found one and Quinn scoffed at the price.

“Are they thinking there is oil on the property of something?” He asked.

“Not really. It’s just this is a gay town. Gay guys have money because we have no kids.” He looked at me as he rolled his eyes.

“How do you think we could handle it? It needs renovation. We couldn’t do that by summer.” He said as we climbed out and looked around the outside, peeking into windows.

The neighbor walked over and started talking to us. She informed us that water, sewer and gas were available. Which made me smile. Tanner took us back to Jules’ to return the pedicab and turn over his funds for the morning before we walked down to the pier for burgers and then walked to the house. It was cold, but refreshing too. Tanner didn’t make it far past the front door before I had his track pants down and my dick in his ass. Quinn took his dick in his mouth once I pulled Tanner off the door and had him bend at the waist. Hands against the door. His loud grunts told me I was having the desired outcome at any moment. Once I heard Quinn slurp, I felt the vice clamp around my dick and drove into Tanner even harder as I released my load. Quinn took a page out of Jules’ book and kissed me with Tanner’s love juices in his mouth. Sharing them with me and then Tanner.

Quinn wasn’t satisfied with just getting Tanner’s load and he ended up on the kitchen island. Tanner had his dick in his mouth when he came and flooded his ass. He shared the love juices, too. Just the effect of my husbands rubbing off on each other. Quinn and I headed back to the offices. Taking the truck down. I stopped in front of a new sign and tilted my head, then swiveled to look at the building numbers. Quinn raised his eyebrows as he tried to figure out which building I was looking at.

“What are you buying now, baby?” He asked as I looked at the building.

“It depends. Close to the pier. Shops under apartments above. Might be the best choice.” I said as I pulled away and turned for the pier, driving out to our spot and parking. 20 minutes later, I walked from my office to Quinn’s. “Want to go look with me?” I asked.

“OK. When?”

“As soon as we pick up Jules. I just need to call the realtor's back and let them know.” I said.

“I’ll close this out and be ready.” Quinn said as he started to shut down. I called Jules and he would be ready by the time we got there. The realtor would meet us at his office. We could park there and walk down the 300 feet to the building. I grabbed my pocket notebook on the way out.

Twenty minutes later, we were looking through the building. It looked to me that somebody just fixed the spots and slapped paint over the walls. Everyone heard my loud exhale. Loud enough that the realtor was going to comment until Jules wrapped his arm around my waist and Quinn did the same from the other side. Kissing each of them on the head before I continued looking around. One bathroom downstairs, two up. I looked at Jules.

“The thought was. I need a location to house my summer help. I figured the downstairs could act as a store front for the little things that are going on with your people. The home made soaps. The furniture display room and the creations that are knitted also some of the artwork?” His smile broadened as he pulled me into a hug. Kissing me soundly before he kissed Quinn.

We toured the upstairs fast but went back down to meet Alan, who brought a graph pad. We sketched out a rough design of the downstairs with measurements, then just a rough drawing of the upstairs. We thanked the realtor as we left and said we would be in touch. Jules gave me the look, and we took him to our house. His clothing was coming off as he moved to the playroom. Tanner and Quinn let us go alone. Jules was in the swing harness as I made him orgasm twice before he was thoroughly fucked.

“I need to get back to the house. I can come over tonight about 10 pm, but need to be up at 6 am again.”

“That’s fine, my good boy.” I said as I held him tight under the shower. “I’ll hold you in my arms all night after we make love again with the rest of the family.” His kiss told me how happy that would make him.

Jules

It has been two weeks since I last stayed overnight with Orion and my husbands. It’s just one thing after another. Now I’m sitting in the waiting room in the Hospital in Hyannis as mom and I wait for the Cat Scans on dad. He fell again and smashed his head. Now they think he has a concussion. I heard the whispered voices, more specifically the Texan accent I knew so well. I stood just as that tall person who strode into the waiting area drew everyone's attention. Eyes locked on mine as he stepped purposely through the waiting room and grabbed me in his arms. Lips kissed the side of my neck before he whispered.

“Is everything OK?” he asked, and I sniffled as I shrugged. He patted my back on the standard signal to step back. I did, and he leaned down and hugged my mother. Whispering in her ear as she nodded. When he separated, he held out a hand for me. I took it and followed him out of the building to the car. The doors unlocked and he pushed me into the backseat. Where he held me tight as he asked me questions.

“He fell at the store. Mom brought him down to go shopping and he wouldn’t use an electric cart. He tripped over his feet. Hitting his head on a display case. They think he might have a concussion. He just doesn’t get,” my breath hitched, “he can't do everything anymore.” I said. There was more, but he understood. He knew about the health insurance problems.

We were only out there 15 minutes before he kissed me. Then we were walking back in after he cleaned my face with a tissue. Mom wasn’t in the waiting room, which meant he was back in the room. Orion came in to ask mom if she wanted anything, and then me, from the hospital cafeteria. He was going down to get a coffee, tea for mom and water for me. It took him almost thirty minutes before he returned. Holding a small beverage carrier as he dispensed the drinks and then stood behind me, holding me in his arms. Mom smiled up at him.

“I’m staying here with mom as they want him to stay the night. Can you go over to the house and explain what’s happened?” He nodded as he kissed my neck.

“A prepaid room awaits you two at the Anchor Inn across the street. It’s in your name.” He said softly. It happened again. The eyes went wet, and the heart was out of control as my husband just told me I was loved in ways that words could never express. He held me long enough for me to control my emotions before he hugged my mom and left. Mom held me too.

“I may not understand your relationship, Jules, but I can say without a doubt. You are loved, and that makes us happy. Besides. He gives a good hug, and that accent is to die for.” Mom said. Making me laugh.

It was the next morning after breakfast when the doctor came in and pronounce dad good enough to go home, but nothing strenuous and no working for the next two weeks. Rest is what he needed. He also suggested more therapy to help with the walking. After we went downstairs and I checked with admissions about the bill, I found out my husband was here too. Having paid the bill in total last night. Mom saw the look on my face as I turned around. We didn’t have any hospital staff as I brought dad’s wheelchair when I came down. She pulled me into a hug before I lost control again, which seems to happen more in the past few months than my entire life combined before Orion walked into it.

“I am guessing your husband has been here and with a wave of his hand, there is nothing for us to worry about.” She said as my head nodded.

“What’s going on?” asked dad tiredly as he turned the wheelchair with his good hand.

“That guy that tamed our son is flexing his wallet.” Mom said. It took dad a minute before he figured that out.

“We’ll pay him back.” Dad said, and I snorted. Loudly. Causing both of them to look at me.

“About that idea you think you are going to pay him back… It doesn’t work like that. So just forget it and give him a hug or something. It will save you a lot of aggravation.”

“I could see that being true.” Mom said, but dad knew enough to wait for the rest of what she was going to say. “If you think you’ll do any better than our son. Think twice. He tamed Jules. You wouldn’t even make him have to work for it before you caved.” I snorted and dad laughed softly before he sighed in resignation.

“Yeah. I guess you're right.” Dad murmured.

“Just for clarification. If it was a family decision, then I was out voted, anyway. I am only one fifth of the family. I’m sure the vote would have been 4 to 1.” Mom gave an approving nod, hearing that.

“I think I like your relationship more every day.” Mom said as dad nodded.

Orion

I was still at Jules’ place the next morning. Going over items with Landon, so I understood them and thanked him for informing me of Jules’ issues. I also had him monitor the cryptocurrency I had him buy. He said it was rising, and I smiled. It wouldn’t take long for that to make Jules a millionaire, a few years at most, if I read the market right. If all went well. Alan had attached himself to me during the morning. Riding on my hip. Soft kisses on my neck. Before I sent him off to work. I was just getting ready to leave when Jules returned. I smiled as he entered. He looked starving as he approached me and I didn’t mean he was hungry, either. His hand laid flat on my chest as he pushed me back down the hall to his room. He closed the door once we were in. The lustful look in his eyes as he undressed me was exhilarating. My cock was already hard. He had his clothing off and folded it, placing it next to mine before he guided me to the bed. He pulled me on top of him. When our lips met, he made sure I was loved. An hour later, I held him in my arms as he laid on my chest. He made love to me and I made love to him.

“I will be over tonight to thank my other husbands. Then could you hold me all night again? I need to leave at 6 am to meet Charley and take the boat out. I’ll be doing that for the next month, probably.” He said in a dreamy voice as his fingers rubbed my chest.

“I will always hold you tight when you need me to. I will always love you.” I whispered back as my hand rubbed his back. “Maybe you could make love to Quinn like you did to me.” He nodded.

“Anything you want from me, Orion. I am yours to use as you please.” He said before he kissed me again, then groaned as he lifted out of bed. Holding a hand to help me up.

“Tanner could go with you tomorrow. You could teach him what to do for a few days and let Charley be in charge after that. You always said Charley was more of the day sitter for your dad to drive the boat. Maybe if the two of them work together for a few weeks, you could get ahead on the ocean projects.” That suggestion caused him to pin me to the wall as he kissed me.

I made it into the office just after lunch, and Quinn gave me a knowing smirk. “He was thankful?”

“He was. Tonight, you will see just how thankful he is. And then we can hold him through the night.” I said before I kissed him and continue to my office. “I also suggested that Tanner could join the boat crew for a few weeks.” I called down the hall.

I entered my office and pulled up the file for the idea coming out of Connecticut. I want to be part of that and I want that information to be added to our Foundations Data base. Even picked up the phone to talk to this guy. Surprisingly, I was able to get him on the phone. Even made an appointment to visit next Tuesday. A few minutes later, I kicked myself. Calling down to the Toyota dealer to order a car for lease. I couldn’t use the truck or the SUV. I need the gas mileage of a car. I would drive down Monday night and spend the morning with the principal player and drive back in the early afternoon.

It was the first week of February 2011. The aircraft just landed in Chicago and we were getting ready to greet the new comers, just like the five of us were greeted when the aircraft landed in Barnstable. The three couples were nice, and the flight was filled with them learning about us. The next two couples surprised us, as they were only a little older than we were. What surprised us the most was they knew about us from Logan. That made me wonder if he told the others too and that was why they were so nice to us.

It took three hours to get to Houston, where we found multiple limos waiting for us. Once loaded, it took 40 minutes to get to the hotel because of rush hour traffic. We had time to check in before dinner and work out our room assignments. We all had the same floor as Quinn led us to our room. The first thing he checked was the bathroom and gave us a thumbs up. Tanner checked the bed with an approving nod. We knew we wouldn’t have a bed our size, but this is a high-end luxury and the bed was larger than a king. That was a nice surprise. We had an hour before the vehicle was coming to take us to dinner. It was supposed to be a luxury bus. With sixteen of us, it would be tight. The smile that crossed my face as Logan stepped into the lobby to greet everyone was broad and happy.

“Looks like we beat that storm in the Northeast to get everyone out in time.” He said as he talked to the Maine contingent first, then us before the Chicago group. The storm was going to drop a half of foot of snow on Provincetown with high winds. That would melt off in two days as the temperatures shoot up into the forties. Eric met us at the restaurant in our private room.

Our dinner had the feeling of a family get together as night progressed. In a way, it was, as these people all knew each other, with us being the new addition to the group. That everyone was gay as well as rich was an added benefit, and we were the more the curiosity than the abnormal family unit. The one of the two younger couples out of the Chicago area was asking us all sorts of questions about our relationship. Come to find out. John was a psychologist. Mitchell was in finance. Which is how they met Eric. Quinn had shot me several glances, checking on my attitude towards these two. I sensed it too. Mitchell was eying up Ryan. He backed off when Quinn suggested we show them our rings. Since Ryan was beaming like everyone else in our loving little group. He got the idea as Tanner pulled him closer to himself and they kissed. They may have started another idea brewing, but it didn’t matter. We were family. And they were not part of it.

Our arrival in Hawaii the next afternoon was met with a limo taking me and my family to Waikiki to Eric’s condo. We were spending two days here. Quinn and Tanner arranged it as our honeymoon. Standard Personal Displays of Affection rules applied here. Which meant none. We had a very nice meal in the private restaurant that Eric had arranged for us. Even Logan got involved and told us where to get extra-large pina coladas to add rum to in the condo. Eric grinned as he kissed Logan when he suggested it. The look that they exchanged said so many things with love and remembrance being foremost. It melted my heart as Quinn leaned into me. We had our own moments. As I did with all my husbands.

We spent two days enjoying the island of Oahu before we flew over to Molokai for the following 6 days. The weather was good, as was the company. We had passed the point of being a curiosity and were now part of the group of friends enjoying Eric and Logan’s hospitality. Even had Logan take us out on the trimaran for a sail around the island as he told us the story of how they met. To be punctuated by a pod of dolphins swimming with us as we sailed. That made me wonder if there really was a connection between Logan and the dolphins that Eric teases him about.

I love that Orion has time for each of his husbands and makes sure that each of them feels that they are special and loved.  He finds little ways and sometimes big ways to show that he cares for not just them but their families as well.

Much like @drsawzall, I have to wonder what the deal is in Connecticut.  Any student of oceanography or a like discipline will jump at working with these guys.

Connecticut. Home of Bren Smith and Greenwave.org. More will come out as the story progresses. In a nutshell. They are building a world full of ocean farmers. Hence the operation Jules has. Which started as his father's shellfish grow out areas that he had with his lobster fishing but can no longer do by himself since he had a stroke a few years ago. Jules placed a seat and grab bars so his father could still pilot the boat. He can't do the actual work needed and has Charley out with him. Under Orion's advice and financial backing the farm is being expanded to include seaweed also. Jules. Tanner, Charley and a few other people also spend a few days down in Connecticut to learn the business first and at the training farm on Long Island Sound from the Greenwave staff. And yes, that cost Orion a nice donation to help them fund the project. 😁
