Feeling Blue

   (4 reviews)
Genres: Fantasy
Sub-genres: General Fantasy

In a magical world, heavy with expectations for the ruling family, Prince Terryn is reluctant to accept a role he was born for, but not made for. If he wants to escape the throne, the time is now, but what does Fate have in store for him?

I tried to incorporate both Anthology themes: Encounters / Now or Never.

This is a wonderful little feel-good story set in a magical world. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Response from the author:

Thanks, Gary. I was rather worried about using a fantasy word setting, but I really wanted to write a story with a dragon. I'm relieved so many people liked the result.

Thanks, Albert. I'm glad you think the story is worth reading more than once. Yeah, dragons and a handsome prince, what more could we want ? :P

Princes and dragons... sign me up! I’m a sucker for a good fantasy story... Tim delivers.

An enjoyable read. Make sure to let Tim know that Terryn has more story to tell. 😉

Response from the author:

Thanks, jp. I'm glad you like the result of my experiment with a dragon story. Yeah, I know I should expand the tale which is hidden in the last line. Hopefully one day...

I loved this story and the plot! It may be short, but the effect was the the point and direct, the way I love to read! Very talented and that is why I gave 5 stars!

Response from the author:

Thanks, Sherye. I'm glad you enjoyed it and didn't mind the slightly abrupt ending. If my muse ever returns an dinspires me to write, I should probably follow up on this story.
