This is a wonderful story of past dreams held from a loving relationship that no longer is, those dreams become the plans for renovating an old house. This isn't just rebuilding a house, it's rebuilding a life with a future and new relationship. This is an uplifting read and very nicely written.

Already knowing the quality of Valkyries’s writing I had high expectations and they were met.  I’ve just double checked the length - 5,000 - because it  just flows so quickly and yet with time for the dramatic moments, and there are lots!
another 5* work from this great writer.

well done

Everyone suffers loss during their lives.  Working through it can be difficult, almost overwhelming at times but sticking with it can result in a wonderful sense of accomplishment.  This story exemplifies all of that.  I heartily recommend it to everyone.

Response from the author:

Thank you!
