Higher Education 5. Running With The Pack

   (9 reviews)
Higher Education cover photo.jpg

Trevor Carlson is making his way through graduate school. He’s the best friend and beta to the most powerful wolves known to exist. Rather than be swallowed by the shadows of his friend’s success, Trevor’s shown time and again he’s a confident and powerful force who can stand on his own. A summer internship working at his friends pack in California broadens his horizons and reminds him not all education takes place in the classroom.

A wonderful continuation of the “Running With the Pack” series. While you certainly can read it first, it would be far more impactful to start with the first story.

Trevor — a self-proclaimed man whore with the ladies — packs about as much personal growth as you could possibly expect in one summer internship, and  not just with sexual horizons. He quickly develops from one of the least-interesting characters in the “pack” series to one of the most compelling.

With each new story of his saga, @WolfM builds on the world and themes of the whole, told through compelling, relatable characters with action, humor, lust and love. Oh, and I can’t forget the intricately detailed depictions of interesting places found along the way

Personally, I think this is one of the strongest entries in the series.  Hated to see it end. Looking forward to catching up with these guys again.

What a wonderful addition to the Running With The Pack saga.  A total homerun from start to finish.  We get a deep dive on Trevor, who was the second of Aiden's friends, but the one away at college that we did not get as much info on in the first couple of stories.

We get to know him and walk with him on a new area of discovery as he spends a summer helping out the pack in California that Aiden and Ethan came into with Dorian's "death".

Don't want to give anything away.  Just sit back and let @WolfM take you on a great adventure...

Aside from magnetic characters and magnificent action, one thread runs through all of the author's stories: self-knowledge. The main characters, whether they realize it or not, are on a journey of discovery and acceptance. By getting to know themselves better, Ethan, Chris, Brandon, Trevor, and others, experience moments of lucidity when it comes to who they really are.

Higher Education gives us action, wonderful locations, and a man who at last realizes there's more to the world than vanilla; little banana ice cream can be just as tasty. :P

Another must-read story from the "Running With The Pack" series, this time following Trevor's story. We see many familiar faces and read a tale of self-discover. Famous for having ladies on each of his hips, Trevor goes on a summer trip to find out more about life. The detail used for Burney is exquisite, sending the reader on an adventure.

For fans of the series, quit reading this review. Get started!

@WolfM does it again with the next foray into the Running With The Pack world!

This time it's Trevor who is the main protagonist and we are sharing his journey of self-discovery - you'll have to read the story to find out exactly what (and who) that journey entails.

Some of the guys from previous stories make the odd appearance here or there.

If you haven't read the previous stories then this story will make absolutely no sense until you do - so go and do that before you go any further here.

Another fantastic entry in the Running with Pack series.

In this one we follow Trevor, a Harvard Student on his summer vacation.

Trevor takes a summer job, to help out and put his skills to use. We have great scenery, good food and adventures during his summer.

We meet new friends and familiar faces as Trevor learns that not all Higher Education takes place in the classroom.

WolfM has written another great novel in Running With The Pack series.  Trevor is one smart wolf going to get his MBA at Harvard.  He is also a well loved beta to the Parker Valley Pack.  On summer vacation, his friend and Alpha ask him to go check on the Pit River Pack where Aiden and Ethan are also Alphas of that pack.  Thus begins a great story filled with fun, adventure and danger as Trevor continues his higher education by working in the pack, as well as learning about himself.  There are many changes in store for Trevor that are totally unexpected, but enjoyable.  This is a thrilling story that will have you wishing and hoping you were there with Trevor and his friends.  I highly recommend this story.

This is a "What I Did Last Summer" report that would give your teacher a heart attack.  All others will love the summer of Trevor's self-discovery, guaranteed.
