The Neko and the Wolf 1. Astara Royalty Astara

   (1 review)
Genres: Fantasy, Romance

Finley is a neko out of place. Plucked out of an orphanage by the queen herself, he has been pushed into a journey that will one day see him become king of the world. Not that he ever wanted that honour.

Zaddis Lobos was born to an elf lord and a werewolf mage. Threatened with house arrest for attacking the son of a noble, he is given an offer. Months of sitting around, or taking place as the new prince's guard.

This story is the result of a roleplay between a friend of mine and myself, in an attempt to help build the world of Astara into a living, breathing land. The character of Zaddis belongs to him.
For those wondering about the setting, this takes place alongside Damian's Wolf, and a little after.
As the result of a roleplay, the story tends to hop around a lot, both head hopping and otherwise. Reader discretion is advised.

This may not be the kind of story that some may enjoy due to the way of the ending but it is still a fantastic story of 2 males, a neko and a wolf, who find each other to live their lives with each other through hard and bad times. I would recommend this story for the supernatural readers. I was not disappointed, and I found out how the king was a child first as an orphan then a prince for awhile and he found his mate while he was still fairly young.

Response from the author:

I'm glad you were able to enjoy the story despite the rather unpolished ending.
