Just a bit ago I was asked by a member on a yahoo group about my favorite stories here on GA. I could have gone on forever and I probably sound like an advertisement. But it got me thinking.... of how I read ALL of these great stories and I hardly/rarely leave the author's any feedback. It got me wondering what the author's want to hear... sure they probably get a lot of "Great Chapter", "Excellent Work" or "Darn you CliffJames". I feel like I am being redundant when I mention what other people have already said. So normally don't bother saying anything. I guess author's knowing they are appreciated is a great feeling... Maybe I should just try harder to find something to say? Here is the email I sent.... to show some of author's they are greatly appreciated. Any mistake in grammar are because I am tired and have to be at work tomorrow at 8 am for 10 hour shift, I work 4 days 10 hours each (Wednesday-Saturday). I work in a Cell phone call center here in Maryland and commute an hour each way. I do get tons of interesting calls, but that's a whole another blog in itself. Edward

Signature Excerpt February Signature Excerpt: Odyssey By Mark Arbour
Cia posted a blog entry in Gay Authors News
Mark Arbour's story, Odyssey, was Monday's Signature Feature. Did you grab your copy of the signature banner so you can share your love for Mark's story? If not, you can do that here! Today we're featuring a great excerpt from the story that shares Mark's great ability to create a vivid world for Mark's main character in the series, George Granger, to explore. Why did Mark pick this story to feature? Mark says: My favorite story is: Odyssey, from the Bridgemont series. I'm really proud of that one because of all the meticulous research I had to do, and how carefully I had to plot out the timeline. I had to get my hero from England, around the world via Indonesia and India, and to Egypt in time for the Battle of the Nile, all of this in 1798. I know CAP is more popular, but that story is my best effort Want to read more? Check out the rest of the story here!- 5 comments

Signature Feature February Signature Feature: Odyssey By Mark Arbour
Cia posted a blog entry in Gay Authors News
One of many readers' favorite stories, as well as Mark's, this month's feature is Odyssey, Book 6 in the Bridgemont series featuring the adventures of Sir George Granger as he tries to voyage to the West Indies. Have you read it yet? Length: 406,283 Description: It is April, 1797, and England is still celebrating the victory at the Battle of St. Vincent. Sir George Granger is given orders to set off on a voyage to the East Indies, but there are several challenges that await him before he can even sail. Some great story reviews: Miles Long says: Spectacular story in an equally spectacular series. Tip of the hat to you Mark Arbour for your excellent work and thanks to you and your team for bringing it to life. Sandrewn says: Mark, this is by far my favourite story in GA. I hope you continue with Grangers' adventures when the Odyssey comes to an end, as all good thing must. Thank you for the all hours of enjoyment you have given to me and I'm sure the many more than just the 93 who admitted it did. Rolfe45 says: Amazing work, Mr. Arbour! I have thoroughly enjoyed the Bridgemont saga. I truly hope you intend to continue this saga. I'm not sure how I'd survive without the escape which reading the Bridgemont & CAP sagas provides. GWood says: Mark, many thanks to you for your writing and to your editors/beta readers for their efforts, too. We are truly blessed at having your writings on this site. Entertaining, suspenseful, exotic and erotic. Truly looking forward to your next installment (and your continuation of 9.11). Many thanks again. Remember to check back on Wednesday to see what excerpt Mark chose to share with readers! Want to show your support and enjoyment of Mark's story? Download the banner below for your site signature!
