"Her Name was Steven"

I cried. A lot.

This documentary is tough to watch. It's a story that follows chronological events in this man's life from childhood, to the epic life-changing decision using that man's own diaries of growing up.

To watch these people, who worked with this woman when she was the opposite gender, shy away, and provide non-existent for their Co-Councilor is appalling.

One shriveled-up old fart, one who needs to die off and take the bigotry in his heart with him, even uses the word "normal", in deference to needing someone else in the position. BASTARD!

I sit here wondering how can we have come so far, with unabashed bigotry shown so virulently.

I'm saddened.

Steve
