i had a feeling Erin was the gay one lol
-
well that was different. lol for someone that just got dumped he really moved on fast lol. Goes to show jeremy was right sort of anyway.
-
great starting chapter, i like the development.
-
well that was a little anticlimactic a lot. It not in the sense that oh so many questions which there is to be answered, but an almost full rotation from where i thought the chapter would lead to its just, all of a sudden it ended i'm like what. Not like it was a bad end but i taken by surprise. And my rant about the lady seleney well those people are tres forgiving i must say. And while i am someone that believes in understand and reasoning and not letting anger control an outcome or any other emotion. While Seleney probably learned from her scheming ways, i still feel quilt is to good a punishment for her but its your story. The thing i am angry with her for is not that she got the haigeil (sp) there in the first place, its that she schemed with foreign parties out of her blindness and probably hate, and took matters in her own hands that should have been in the kings hand. she did not want to reason with anyone she wanted to be important and powerful and as a result was used twice by the outcasts overt people who she sided with and by the enermy SMH.
-
seriously, talk about the passion of danger lol.
-
well are they going to free Haven one can hope, this looks like a trilogy in the making so far. Great turn of events.
-
lol keep telling yourself that Dalen lol...great Dalen done gone and lost his cherry to the bard any body surprised. And it seems he has found his soulmate thats good.
-
so sad, Dalen is still not learning i see, but that is to be expected. i still don't see how he can defend his mother without shame sigh.
-
well Selenay has done it now, her little stunt now may have doomed valdemar, armies capable of taking on the entire world and mages whose power are tied to people. How are they going to come out from this intact and alive.
-
i'm not sure what to make of the direction this chapter took the story, it seems that you like throwing us curved balls (not that i have ever played baseball). I was so sure on the direction now i'm not sure anymore, guess i have to wait and see.

well as they say no rest for the wicked lolol. Even to near exhaustion Dalen and the gang can't get the rest they needs so sad. And i really don't like Dalen standing up for his mother although it is his mother, it is entirely her fault that the country is in this mess, no matter what she is doing to "lessen the blow." they wouldn't have cause of having to lessen any blows in the first place, now they have to fight without and within, how has she help. Doing the best out of a bad situation my bony ass. Dalen is pissing me off you know. I'm sure she knew the king was going to be taken out, and she was telling Dalen to quiet the mob and tell them everything is all right, that is not so bad cause they could die, what was bad was the tone she had at Dalen for going against the enemy. Up to this point she is still thinking she did the right thing even if she was used like a dirty floor cloth, hoping to reason with the Halgeil (sp). From what i knew compromises can only be made if both parties are willing to contribute and sacrifice. The Halgeils only wanted to dictate, they have good intention but they have no intention of listening to others, because they believe that only they are good and only their god are worthy. Isn't that what the mage said to Dalen, they don't understand companions and they are sent from foreign gods so basically they don't care. steeups

amazing chapter, had my hearth racing, wow, such a daring escape, the Heralds are nothing if not meticulous, they planned this so well. I wonder if that was the mission that he had given to carl before he left to Burnham (sp). They really worked well together all the Heralds and Bards and the even the soldiers. I was wondering what the plan of escape was i thought that they were going to gate directing into the place where the Heralds were stationed and then gate Dell out from his room, but i guess i had not placed the pieces together, he did say that they had help from outside and he did tell the Heralds and soldiers to go to the vale so i should have guess that they would have gated to the companion field and gate all the companions and Heralds out from there. I must say i was nervous as Dalen was, had me biting my nails lol.

this chapter leaves me with varying emotions i must say. Firstly i was disappointed that there was no fight, but i suppose that was the best option, one must learn to be flexible and go with the flow this was very wise of Dalen instead of fighting with the super powered mage lol. Secondly i was confused, why is the guys anger abating, and why is the old quenk' (Selenay) congratulating him for being chosen. I was confused because didn't she really not want him to be chosen, you know the saying misery loves company kind of. Is she finally showing her soft side, or is it that she actually wanted to get chosen as well, so she is congratulating him for what she was not able to attain, well as i said confused. I was also angry with Dalen for giving in to the mage and a little confused at his response and reactions. And i was a little bit angry at Selenay not as in the previous chapter but still, she is just too happy go lucky for one who is basically selling out her country, even if it is for peace, seeing as the enermy was set to fight to the death so to speak. The i was relieved and happy and excited when i finally realized what Dalen's plan was so i am anxious to see how this escape plan plays out. Brilliant piece of magic there, to be able to communicate through the mage lights genius. A great chapter as usual, A story is good when reader can love one character and love other, when the readers are getting emotional over the activities of the character as if they are real, this proves this story is great.

this chapter had tied up alot of loose ends even though i always want more of kandric i am a little more satisfied now lol, So we have all the older brothers at leat in equivalency age moving in on rolling dale, i'm really excited and can't wait for them to meet up and i really want to know what is going to transpire there. I am also worried about the grandfather what he will do to kandric and the others he is already planning to sell them to the dark mages, then there is the students from the school what will it be when they meet glaster will they be able to free the others as well so much to anticipate in the next chapter. Awesome chapter .

i disagree with you Rebelghost85 Selenay is not good nor is she doing the best she can. I too, wanted her to be doing her best and being used against her will. However, she is doing so willingly, because she is a coward. Valdemar would not be in this precarious situation where the people are turned to puppets, including she herself. yes she had good intentions but as they say the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. He is greedy and selfish and bitter, she wants things to go her way she wants to be in control, she willingly brought them here where they killed the rightful monarch and has his heir in an induced coma so she could remain their puppet, here she is bowing to a foreign government calling him your eminence. How despicable, and sordid. I don't disagree that she had good intentions but she was hasty and greedy, she and the king could have come to a conclusion but she reasoned that she would not have her way so she allowed herself to be used buy them. If it was nothing else she is responsible for the death of the king and counsel, the continued absence of the rightful heir, the kidnapping of the people of Valdemar, the false accusation and staining the honour of the Heralds which leads to corruption and lack of trust of the people in something that has keep Valdemar honest and good all these years, now, even if they are able to drive off the enermy, the honour of the heralds will be stained. No Selenay's head should roll and if she is acquitted i will be very upset with this story. If she wants to be a martyr then let her put her neck on the block literally. Other than that it was a really good chapter and the next promises to be quite the show down can't wait. I hope Dalen is able to handle such a superpower with the help of the haven hearthstone, i really want selenay to die for her treachery. Her reasons are like dust in a desert totally unnecessary.
