Destiny - 2. Chapter 2
"HOLD ON DAD, DON'T LET GO!" Nate screamed as he was holding his father's
hands.
Nate was struggling to keep his dad from being sucked into the void of
space. Tears were rolling down Nate's cheeks, knowing he was losing his
grip, he knew this was it, a life and death situation, here and now. He was
about to lose his father. Debris was flying past them, barely missing them,
but hitting the breach in the bulkhead. Nate had one hand holding his
father's hands and the other holding onto a beam for support.
"DAD DON'T LET GO! DON'T LEAVE ME!"
"I can't hold on, son. Tell your mom and sister I love them..." He was
losing his grip, his fingers slipping apart until Dan let go. Nate watched
his dad being sucked into space.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Nate jumped up from his bed, sweating, breathing hard and shaking
violently. Looking around, he tried to get his bearings, to understand what
just happen. He realized it was a nightmare, but he couldn't shake the
imagines from his mind. He had to calm himself down, to relax and try to
control his breathing. He leaned his back against the wall in a sitting
position.. In the dark he could see the city lights pouring into his
room. He was still shaking from the dream, trying to understand why he
dreamt that nightmare. Maybe it was a warning.
He looked at his clock on the night stand. He saw it was still early, a
few hours before he had to get up. He sat there thinking about how his day
was going to be, knowing today was the last day of school with his friends,
the last day of normal school. He didn't want to go back to sleep and
relived the dream. He sighed and yawned a little, then lifted his arms for
a good stretch. He told himself to get up, removing the covers and head
into his bathroom. Nate had a private bathroom connected to his bedroom.
He went to the toilet to pee.
He looked at himself in the mirror. He leaned forward, just to look into
his eyes, study himself.
*Chime*
Nate was lost in thought when the computer chimed in his bathroom. "Yes?"
Nate answered.
"REM sleep detected, high levels of tension and increased blood flow
suggests nightmares. *Beep* Notifying school counsellor."
"Cancel that, computer." That's not going to help now. He doesn't have a
counsellor anymore.
"Appointment cancelled. Advise, seek mental counsellor." The computer
beeped twice and shut off.
Nate looked into the mirrors. "Well... might as well take a shower." He
turned around to turn the shower on, strip his underwear off. He looked at
the mirror and saw his bum. A perfect bubble butt, not a hair, smooth to
the touch.
The long walks had finally paid off... he saw dimples in each cheek. He
loves taking long walks. It's the only time he can find peace and quiet. He
goes for hours at a time in the early morning, while his family sleeps and
his friends are in bed, under their covers. In his mind, they are all safe,
at peace, no one can hurt them. No stress is being afflicted on the ones he
loves. During the night Nate can walk freely on the streets below, where
millions of people will walk the pavement in a few hours.
"Water, 25 Celsius," Nate commanded. The shower head started. Nate moved
slowly into the cool water and closed the screen behind him. He grabbed the
soap bar and started to wash himself. Next he applied shampoo to his
hair. He took his time, he wasn't in a rush. He loved the smell of this
brand of soap, just a mixture of jasmine and vanilla. He finish soaping
himself up, then moved under the water to rinse it off while rubbing his
body slowing, yet hard. Then he leaned forward against the wall and let the
water pour over his body, enjoying the shower as it helped him ease the
dream away, helped him to relax for the day ahead of him. Nate reached up
and turned the heat higher on the computer pad. As the temperate increased
slowly, Nate sighed, feeling the heat and water massage his fragile body
and soul, as if his spirits were being lifted from the pit of hopelessness,
his body gained more strength and was awakened.
Nate opened his eyes and saw his member growing, coming to full hardness,
showing the world its full length and power. He softly touched his member,
pulling back the foreskin, looking at his shiny pink head. He let go of
the foreskin and it wrapped his member's head once again. Nate sighed at
the feeling, retouching himself. He touched his hanging balls. He stared at
his member, barely holding it. One palm was on the wall to hold him steady.
The other palm massaged his member ever so slowly and softly. Every time
his fingers moved over the head of his penis, an electric shock overwhelmed
his senses and his body. A pleasure that only he knew and he did it
well. He gripped himself harder and increased his pace. He leaned forward
to rest his forehead against the wall. The heated water massaged his back
and his bum. The smell of soap and shampoo flared up his nostrils. As he
was touching himself, images of Thomas came into his mind. Thomas was in
his summer shorts, shirtless, sitting beside Nate, smiling at him. A touch
from Thomas sent an electric shock wave through his body, a pleasure that
Nate couldn't describe. A feeling of love, a feeling of lust, a feeling of
forbidden touch. Nate increased his stroking and leaned closer to the
wall. Massaging his balls and penis, Nate was being overwhelmed by the
pleasure he was giving himself. His legs were barely holding him up. With
every stoke Nate cried in whispers. The smells, touches, massage from the
water and images in his mind were sending him over the edge. Nate cried
above a whisper, tears escaped his eyes. He passed his limit, he had gone
over the cliff, nothing could stop it now, not a world-ending event could
stop it. Time itself stopped for Nate.
Stoking at a pace that made his hand a blur, his legs gave out on him and
he landed on his knees. He arched his back, opened his eyes, looked at the
ceiling. His heart stopped, his breathing stopped, his mouth opened, a
silent cry escaped from his inner soul, deep inside, deep enough so his
belly was shaking, his head was jerked back, arms twitching. A moan
escaped, full of love, lust, fantasy, anger, fear, hope and his spirit's
sum, all in one long moan. A moan that people could love.
Falling back toward the wall, he tried to catch his breath, regain his
composure. Tears were pouring from his eyes and he was unable to stop
them. He wasn't Nate, Nate was in a coma. For only a minute Nate was absent
from his mind. As he sat there looking at the wall where the water was
washing his sperm away, he was lost in thought. His member was laid to rest
after the intense abuse. His heart was beating hard within his chest. He
had worn himself out, abusing himself for that one special moment, a
perfect moment. Able to regain himself and coming back to the real world,
he grabbed the hand rail to pull himself up. He looked at himself, knowing
he made a mess of himself. He rinsed his body once more to remove his inner
essence, he inspected his cleanliness.
"Off," he commanded the computer. He opened the shower screen and stepped
out. Grabbing a towel, he dried his hair and body. He put on a clean pair
of underwear, one that hugged his groin and bum, giving him the feeling of
tightness, a secure feeling. He wiped the steam from the mirror so he could
look at himself. Next, he grabbed his toothbrush and cleaned the overnight
accumulation of goo from his mouth.
*Chime*
Nate looked over to the computer beside the mirror.
"Test result from sperm deposits... High active sperm count."
"Fuck! Delete test result!" He didn't want his test to be recorded, or for
someone to look at his results. "Stupid computer," he mumbled to himself,
then he spit into the wash bowl below him, fixed his hair, put on underarm
deodorant and some cologne. Nate walked into his bedroom and saw the sun
was rising above the city. Stopping in his tracks, he looked over and let
the sun soak into his near-naked body.
He felt a warm wave, a powerful warmth, as the light shone on his body. He
closed his eyes to let his senses feel the heat on his skin. He didn't want
to pollute the feeling with images of the buildings in the foreground. He
imagined himself in an open field, alone, only him and the sun. The sun
blasted his bedroom with bright orange, as if the gods above wanted Nate to
be the only person to feel their love. The warmth hit Nate's body, warmed
his body and soul. He stood there to let himself be recharged by the most
powerful energy known to man. As the sun continued to rise, the room lost
its morning glory. As the heat of the sun died down, Nate opened his eyes
and saw the sun moved higher into the sky... for everyone to enjoy. This
was his private moment to be with the sun, something that he couldn't share
with anyone.
Once the room lost its orange hue and normal light entered it, Nate could
feel the absence of the warmth he had. He walked over to his closet and
picked out his clothes - black jeans and a white shirt and left the
bedroom.
He entered the dining room, ordered cereal from the food vendor and sat at
the table. He looked around his home while eating, knowing he would not be
here much longer. He would be losing the soft warm colors of his home to
the hard cold steel walls of the Star Ship. Nate just shook his head,
trying to dismiss the thought. He mumbled to himself, "Focus on today."
Hearing the door open and close softly, he looked up and saw his dad in his
bathrobe. "Morning son," he said half sleepily and barely made it to the
vendor. "Coffee, black," he softly spoke to the computer.
"Type or brand," the computer responded.
"REGULAR COFFEE BLACK!" he demanded of the computer.
The vendor zapped a cup of hot coffee for his dad. Nate couldn't help but
smile, knowing his dad was a simple man. Nothing special, he just wanted
his coffee. He watched his dad barely make it into the bathroom with coffee
in hand and close the door behind him. Looking back into his cereal, he
rested his head on his hand and played with his breakfast. Hearing the
door open, he didn't look up. He knew the sound his mom made when
walking. Mom was up for the day. "Morning, Mom."
"Morning son, you're up early!"
Shifting in his seat he said, "Yeah, I couldn't sleep." He didn't share his
dream with his mom. It's just a dream. It's nothing, just a dream.
"Well you will tonight, dear," she replied as she stood in front of the
food vendor. "Coffee, double, double."
"Type or Brand," the vendor replied in a monotone voice to the order.
"Please list the brands."
"Star Bucks, Krispy Kreme, Tim Hortons, Green Mountain, Misty..."
"Star Bucks, please," she interrupted. The computer did what it was
commanded to do. As she got her coffee, she sat down beside Nate, turning
on the news display so she can start her morning routine.
Feeling full now, Nate pulled back and rested on the back of the
chair. "Computer... finish." The computer took Nate's command and zapped
the empty cereal bowl away. Looking over to his mother, he saw she was
involved in the display with the current news and events, sipping her
coffee slowing and enjoying the taste. Her mind was waking up.
"Mom?"
"What, hon?" not looking from her display.
"What are the plans for this weekend?"
She looked up and thought for a minute, searching for answers, trying to
remember if they had something planned. She looked at Nate. "Nothing."
She paused and thought for a second. "Let's have a party," her smile
brightening the room up. She looked at Nate. "We'll invite everyone we
know. You too, hon! This is our last weekend of free time. We should have
everyone here for one last time."
Nate couldn't help but smile, he couldn't contain himself, he had to hug
her. He got up and started to walk towards his bedroom.
"Let have it on this Saturday, noon time, everyone can bring something,"
she added. Nate nodded at his mother and walked into his room, he bent over
to pick up his book bag. Then he recalled he's not going to class. He's
just going to visit. He looked into his bag to see what he could leave at
the apartment. He kept the computer pads in the bag, they belonged to the
school. He walked out of his bedroom and past the bathroom. A god-awful
smell crept out of the bathroom.
"DAD, CLOSE THE DOOR, WILL YOU?" Nate covered his nose and closed the door,
feeling sick to his stomach. Nate walked into the dining room and saw his
dad was sitting beside his mom, talking to each other. As he reached to the
food vendor, he ordered, "Tim Horton's Coffee, Triple, Triple." The vendor
produced his flavour of coffee and he had a sip as he turned to the dining
room table. Dad and Mom were talking about the party for tomorrow. They
figured the apartment would be small, so they're going to see if they can
get the flat on top of the building, lots of trees, glass and a garden. It
was really a nice place to have friends over. He listened to the
conversion, picking up the details to relay to his friends.
"Bye," Nate said, as he left the apartment. He heard his parents saying
goodbye, but it was cut off when the door behind him closed. He looked down
the hallway. A few people were walking about, minding their own
business. He looked at his com pad to turn on the music. Holographic
headphones appeared over his ears as his music started to play. Nate began
his trip to school. He stepped onto a lift to take him down 313 floors. It
wasn't a long trip, an Anti-Gravity platform helped to prevent people from
flying to the ceiling or being crush to the floor. He never noticed the
effects of shooting down 300 km per hour; he just stood there soaking in
the music.
Once the lift entered the train station under his building, Nate stepped
off. He looked around and saw the lobby was filled with people. Everyone
was trying to get somewhere, trying to get there on time, all in a
rush. Walking slowly towards the trains, he noticed the art deco design of
the lobby. The floors were white marble, the walls tan in color, with art
placed everywhere. The high ceiling maked you feel as if you were not being
closed in.
The train arrived on time. Entering the train, he tried to find a
seat. People were pushing him around in the car; arms were everywhere. He
felt like a sheep on a massive farm. No one noticed him, nor did they care
about him. He was just a piece of meat going from Point A to Point
B. Unable to find a seat, he just stood there, leaning against the wall.
As he looked at the crowd, no one noticed the train start to move. They
were heading from Calgary to the western Alberta city of Jasper, a 415 km
trip. Looking out the window, he saw the buildings pass him in a blur. The
landscape was moving faster and faster and he was unable to lock his eyes
on anything, only the sun and blue sky stayed stationary. He looked over to
the transit computer and saw the red dot moving closer to his
destination. Going 813 km per hour, you felt like you were standing
still. There was no sense of motion. If you didn't look out the window, you
felt as if you weren't moving.
As the train slowed down to the train station in Jasper, Nate straightened
and pulled his book bag strap closer to his neck. The train doors opened
and fresh air and wind hit his face for the first time since Wednesday. He
slowly pushed his way out so he could leave the station and head to
school. He looked down the street and saw a massive body of teens walking
towards the school area.
The school was small compared to others around the world. It was a private
school for the gifted in math and science. Nate was able to get in with
ease but struggled with the lessons they were giving to him now. The
lessons were difficult for him, but he managed to understand and get them
correct.
He walked up the stairs and saw the main building. It was 30 floors
high. As he passed the heavy 10 meter doors, he finally made it to
school. Nate walked toward his normal hang out spot in the math wing. He
looked over the people in front of him, so many people. The last time Nate
heard, this school had just under 20,000 students. And this was a small
school. He lifted his wrist to shut down his music and punch in his
friends' com channels, hoping they were here now. A few seconds later, four
red dots appeared over a map -- Jen, June, Timmy, Thomas and himself. They
were all meeting at the advanced math class.
Nate picked up his pace and tried to separate himself from the crowd. When
he turned the corner and saw his friends, it made his heart jump. A smile
formed on his face and his spirits lifted. He had a feeling that he
`belonged' with his friends, a feeling of love and sharing. All his friends
were hanging out on the corner. No one was talking, just looking at the
ground. Thomas had just told them the news, the news that their buddy was
moving, not to another city, but to another planet! Nate walked up to them,
not saying a word. He smiled to everyone and looked at each person's
eyes. Silence overcame them. No one spoke. No one knew what to say. Nate
took a deep breath and looked at Thomas.
"I just told everyone," he said, as he looked away and found Jen's
eyes. Nate looked at Thomas and saw that he only had eyes for Jen. He was
heartbroken, but he knew it wasn't meant to be. Nate leaned against the
cold wall, and waited to see if anyone would say anything.
"Wow this is heavy." Timmy finally spoke up, he couldn't bear the
silence. Nate could hear someone crying, he looked over and saw June wiping
tears from her cheek. June looked at Nate and she couldn't hold it
back. She walked past Jen and threw her arms around him. Jen followed and
both of the girls hugged Nate, knowing that this would be their last time
together as a group, as school buddies, as class mates. Nate fought his
tears back. He had to let go of the girls just to regain his control. Once
someone hugged him, his would lose control of his emotions and the
floodgates would open wide, letting everything out.
He straightened himself up and looked at Timmy. "Yeah, this is heavy."
*Chirp*
Nate looked at his com pad. He opened it up and saw Miss Davenport's head
appeared.
"Nate, you are exempt from today's classes, please return all school
equipment. Your peers are exempt also. Have them connect their com pads to
yours and the system will be updated."
Jen, June, Thomas and Timmy came closer and their com pads connected
wirelessly and uploaded the information.
"Well guys, let's get my junk and give it back." Nate looked at his
friends. They were smiling, but their eyes betrayed them. They walked down
the hallway.
After they took all the equipment back to the instructors and bid them
goodbye and empty Nate locker, the group walked down main hallway toward
the central lobby. An instructor walking towards the group, stopped them
and asked, "Why aren't you in your classes?" He thought he'd caught them
skipping classes.
"We're exempt from class," Thomas said proudly, a smile on his face. The
Instructor looked on his com pad and saw he was telling the truth. He
looked up and said them a good day and walked down the hallway, away from
the group.
When they entered the central lobby, the sunlight was pouring into the
great room. In the center there was a place for students' tables. Hundreds
of tables were lined up in neat rows. Nate walked down the ramp and placed
himself in a chair that connected to the table. The others followed him. No
one spoke a word. It was too quiet and it bothered Nate. He couldn't stand
the tension. "Guys, talk, please. I hate it when you guys don't talk."
Everyone just looked down at the table, no one spoke up, afraid that
anything they said would be wrong. Finally, Timmy spoke.
"Nate, we're all going to miss you, we just don't know what to say. Now..."
He paused. "We just got to know the real you, umm... I mean what Thomas
said, what you told him. Shit dude, we didn't care. We're buddies. We went
though thick and thin." Timmy's voice was starting to betray him. He
couldn't talk anymore, he straighten himself up.
"Yeah what Timmy said," June injected.
"Well guys," Nate paused, "it was really hard to admit... that... umm... I
like guys." Nate paused to look up to his buddies.
"Yeah, I bet it was," Jen replied.
"Now, I'm moving away, far away, unable to see you guys or even talk to
you." Nate looked back at the table and saw an old piece of food indented
into it.
"Well... let's get the fuck outta here and do something," Thomas spoke
up. He wanted to do something fun, he promised himself they were going to
have the best day of their lives. He wanted to get into some mischief with
his best buddy.
Thomas jumped up, pulling Nate with him. Jen, June and Timmy followed, to
see what Thomas had in mind. They walked down the hallway and then stopped
at the boys' bathroom. Thomas gave Nate the biggest grin he could
muster. He walked into the boys' room, dragging Nate behind him. The others
stayed outside and waited, not knowing what was going on in that room, and
not sure they wanted to know. They heard Nate giggle, overhead him say to
Thomas, "It's not a good idea. We'll get in trouble." Thomas said he didn't
care.
Thomas and Nate walked out of the bathroom and handed everyone a roll of
toilet paper. Jen looked at June and Timmy smiled, knowing they were not
going to be good.
Everyone in the group raced down to an empty hallway. They looked down each
end of the hall and when they saw no one was there, the soccer game began!
The group were enjoying themselves as they kicked and ducked the flying
toilet paper. The looks in their eyes were pure fun and excitement. Then
Jen kicked a roll towards Nate and hit him in the nuts. Nate bent over,
holding his groin and groaning. Jen ran over, saying she was sorry, over
and over.
Timmy was the first to stop. He was laughing too hard and holding his
belly. Just looking at Nate's facial expressions sent him into a laughing
fit. Thomas was standing beside Timmy. He had that look on his face,
knowing something was going to happen. Just then, he slapped Timmy on the
ass. Not a simple whack, a full loud spanking whack. Timmy shot up, rubbing
his bum, giving the bird to his tormentor. Thomas was laughing like a mad
man, sticking out his tongue. "You can't catch me!" Thomas knew how to push
Timmy's buttons enough to know that Timmy would chase him to end of the
earth to catch him.
Thomas saw Timmy starting to run and picked up speed. "Oh Shit!" Thomas
turned and ran towards the door leading outside. Nate and the girls ran
after them, not knowing what was going to happen.
"I'm going to get you, son of a whore!" Timmy bellowed out between breaths
as he chased Thomas. He was a member of the track team and he knew he would
catch him. He was better built than Thomas. He was short at 5'5", black
hair, brown eyes, 140 pounds and had a pair of strong legs. He was able to
meet or run past anyone in his class. Thomas was trying his hardest to stay
ahead of Timmy, knowing he was going to catch him. He tried his best to
keep a good distance between Timmy and him. Thomas ran through a soccer
game in play and heard the coach screaming at them, blowing his whistle,
screaming and throwing a fit. Thomas looked over and saw the coach throwing
his clipboard to the ground. Thomas just knew that Monday he was going to
have to answer to him, but right now, he didn't care.
Just then, he felt an arm around his neck pulling him to the ground. They
crashed into the green grass and slid enough to cause a rug burn. Timmy got
on top of Thomas. While he was on his stomach, Timmy's arms were flying
though the air. Nate could hear the whacks coming from the impact of
Timmy's hands hitting Thomas' bum. Thomas tried to get up and shake him
off, but Timmy's legs were stronger than Thomas' upper body. Timmy had a
good grip on Thomas and he wasn't going to let go. Nate caught up to them
and tackled Timmy off Thomas, not a full body blow, just enough to get
Timmy off his buddy. Timmy was laughing hard enough to hold his belly from
spilling over. Thomas stood up, rubbing his bum with both hands. He looked
at Timmy and smiled a bit, knowing he deserved it.
"What's with you guys?" June ran up and stopped to catch her breath. She
was holding onto her knees, trying to stabilize herself. Jen ran up beside
her, taking the same stance as June.
Thomas looked around, everyone was catching their breath. "I want today be
the best for Nate." Just as he said that, Jen and June gazed at Thomas in
disbelief. "He's not going to be dead tomorrow," Jen replied, after she
got her breath back.
"I know..." Thomas stopped and looked at Nate on the ground.
"I won't be dead tomorrow. Besides, all of you guys are going to see me
tomorrow." Nate stood up, brushing himself off. Then he helped Timmy off
the ground. Everyone looked at Nate, trying to figure out what he meant by
what he just said. Nate looked up and saw everybody was looking at him.
"Tomorrow we're having a big a party, all you guys are coming." Nate
smiled, knowing they would all be there. They had known each other for
years and he knew he could count them being at the party.
"Oh my god! I have to get a dress!" Jen started talking with June, not
missing a beat. She was planning a shopping trip for that evening and they
were deciding what colors to wear.
Nate stopped Jen and told her it wasn't a formal party, just a small get
together. You could read Jen face; she was disappointed that she couldn't
go shopping. Nate smiled at her, "You can dress up a little, but not fancy,
please."
All she could do was smile. She hugged Nate tightly. Nate was surprised at
how fast she was, almost losing his balance. Jen let go of Nate and they
started to walk toward the soccer field and sat to watch the game. They
didn't say much to each other, just enjoyed the local game.
"So Nate, who do you like?" June asked, as she studied Nate.
"No one, really, just guys here and there," Nate replied, watching the
co-ed soccer game.
"I bet he likes Thomas," Timmy said under his breath. June turn around and
slapped him on the leg. Timmy was surprised at how fast June was as he
rubbed the pain in his leg away. He looked up and saw one of the teams
scored a point.
"Well Timmy, you're right. He loves me." Thomas spoke up. Nate quickly
snapped his head toward Thomas.
"Can you keep your mouth shut for once?" Nate snarled. Thomas looked and
smiled, then he wrapped his arms around Nate.
"Really, Thomas, how would you like it if I told everyone you like Jen?"
Nate heard Jen gasp for air.
Thomas looked at Nate, winked at him and said, "Thanks, I couldn't tell
her."
That weasel! He set Nate up so he could get a date with Jen. Nate thought
this was his day, his time. HELL, he was leaving earth and losing all of
them. But no, Thomas set it up so he could get a date with Jen. Thomas can
be a piece of work. Nate turned around to watch the game being played,
resting on his elbows. He saw Jen taking peeks at Thomas and Thomas doing
the same. It drove Nate nuts.
Quickly, Nate got up, took Thomas' hand, pulled him up. Thomas had a
puzzled look on his face. Nate moved Thomas over a foot and pushed him
down. Thomas landed on his bum hard. It took him a second to figure what
Nate just did. Thomas was sitting beside Jen. Nate looked down at them, as
Jen and Thomas looked at each other, shocked. Nate grabbed Thomas' hand and
placed it on Jen's hand. He watched as they held each other's hand
tightly. A smile broke onto their faces. Nate sat down beside Thomas,
knowing that he just gave his true love, his heart, his best friend, his
everything, to a girl.
Nate hugged his knees and buried his face in them. He just couldn't believe
he handed Thomas over like that.
"Thanks Nate, I owe you one."
It was just a whisper in his ear. Nate popped his head up and looked at
Thomas, a little redness in his eyes. He studied Thomas' eyes, then turned
to bury his face again. "You're right. You owe me big," Nate said in an
angry voice. He couldn't speak after that. He didn't want to let everyone
know that he was crying silently.
"Remember when we were playing soccer few months ago and I was looking
where everyone was?" Nate popped his head up, smiling.
"Yeah, who knew the soccer ball would go that far and hit me in the nuts?"
Thomas laughed, "I couldn't walk all day."
Nate laughed, looking at Thomas. "The nurse wouldn't put ice on you; she
was scared of hurting you."
Thomas looked at Nate, they were laughing and tears were pouring from their
eyes. "Nate, that was the best kick you ever did, you got me fair and
square." Nate couldn't do anything more than smile.
They watched the game for a while, it was over soon. They got up and left
the field and entered the building, unable to see until their eyes
adjusted. They walked over the loose toilet paper, nearly slipping. Once
they entered the main lobby, they went to get something to eat from the
vendors.. As they walked to the ramp, Jen stopped, held Thomas' hands and
looked at Thomas and everyone. She started to cry. Thomas looked at her,
concerned. "What's wrong, Jen?" She looked to the side and took a deep
breath.
"Nothing, just being emotional," Jen replied. Thomas moved in closer to
give Jen a hug, knowing she needed it. Nate, looking on from behind Thomas,
couldn't understand why she was emotional. Jen slowly pushed Thomas away,
letting go of his hands and walked up to Nate. She wrapped her arms around
Nate.
"You gave him to me, you're leaving us and this is our last lunch here in
school. You know you're an asshole for leaving us." Jen was feeling every
emotion she had. She looked up at Nate's eyes. A silent moment passed.
"We've got to get you laid," Timmy spoke up, trying to break the deafening
silence. As soon as Timmy said that, Nate felt the blood rushing to his
cheeks. He looked at everyone shyly. Timmy smiled and snickered, "Yes Nate,
you need to get laid." Nate let go of Jen and walked away. Nate couldn't
help but laugh silently. He commanded pizza from the vendors. Once zapped
on the tray, he grabbed his lunch and a drink, sat down and started to
eat. Everyone else got their meals and sat at Nate's table. They didn't say
much, just enjoyed each others' company and ate lunch.
Nate heard June laughing and it broke his train of thought. Timmy looked
over and asked her what was so funny. June looked up smiling. "I remember
when I first saw Nate." June looked at Nate, remembering that day during
lunch break.
Timmy looked at Nate, trying to figure out what she meant. "Huh?" Timmy
replied.
"It was last year, here in the lunch area." She paused, gathering
memories. "Nate jumped up on the table, screaming at the top of his lungs
to vote for him for class president." As soon Nate heard the word `vote',
he looked down and knew what she was talking about.
"By some fluke, two soccer players got off their chairs, Nate was standing
on the edge of the table. All the chairs were connected to the tables,
right?" June giggles "They got up, they didn't realize they were holding
the table down." June started to laugh hard. Thomas had tears in his eyes
from laughing. Timmy looked at everyone. Jen was smiling. "The table
flipped, Nate lost his balance and crashed into the table... Right then I
knew I had to be your friend," June said, looking into Nate's eyes.
"Well I didn't win the class president race," Nate laughed,
"No, you won my heart, Nate." June had tears in her eyes. She had never
expressed her true feelings to him.
"Good times, Nate, good times!" Thomas bellowed out, as he tasselled Nate's
hair.
After a few minutes, when the laugher quieted down, they finished their
lunch and heard the bell rang. Knowing thousands of students would start to
fill the area, they left the area and found some benches.
Thomas was on Nate's left, holding Jen's hand. June was on Nate's right,
left of Timmy. Thomas and Jen were talking to each other. They were telling
how long they had a crush on each other.
June whispered in Nate's ear, "Which one do you fancy?" Nate looked at her
in disbelief. "Umm... um. Ah. Him?" he nodded toward a 16 year old boy with
reddish brown hair, 5'6" or 5'7", 140 pounds, walking past them.
June study him for a few seconds. "No, he straight.."
Nate sniggered as June replied. They played that game for a few
minutes. Sadly, they were getting bored. Nate stood up and looked at
everyone. "Let's go for a walk," he said.
As they enter the hallway, Nate had a feeling someone was looking at
him. He looked ahead and saw a 15 year-old with black hair and green eyes
looking at him. He was walking slowly toward them, not moving to avoided
them. He stopped in front of Nate, gazing into his eyes. Everyone
stopped.. They looked at Nate and this boy who stopped them in their
tracks. Nate looked into the kid's eyes. He felt a peaceful calmness and
something else that he couldn't figure out.
"Hi," a soft voice escaped the black haired boy. Nate heard the sound of
his voice, it was sweet as sugar. Something about his voice overwhelmed
him. Barely speaking up, he replied, "H- hi." He looked into his eyes, they
were beautiful, Nate thought.
Just as he completed his thought, the boy moved closer, touching Nate's
lips with his. It was a touch so delicate, as though he was hoping not to
break Nate. They stood there and kissed, without hands, or noise, without
the world interfering with them. They were in their own world. Nothing was
going to break them apart. The electric feeling from their lips had brought
them into their own world. They stop breathing, eyes closed, hearts
stopped, their lips were on fire. A tingle coursed through every nerve of
their lips. Just to experience the feeling of lust, electric pulses and
sweetness. Nate was overwhelmed. His emotional heart took over his body and
kept him still, to the point that he released his inner essence.
Feeling an intense pain on his left cheek, Nate managed to open his eyes
slowly. He couldn't see the boy who gave him his first kiss. No, he was
looking at the ceiling, unable to shift his eyes. He knew something wasn't
right. His feet weren't touching the floor. Nate felt the thud as he landed
on the floor and hit his head against something hard. His vision started to
blur, unable to focus, barely recognizing June and Jen running to him. Nate
heard Thomas and Timmy screaming and throwing something on the
ground. Then, Nate lost consciousness.
