Despicable - 2. Lie to Me (Part One)

"Bro....is it 9 yet?" Parker slater groaned as he tossed the football to his good friend and fellow teammate, Dave Lapre. "I'm ready to drink till I puke and find my face in between something warm and wet."

Dave laughed harder than he expected at his friend's crudeness. Parker shook his curly blonde locks before sticking the cap back on his head and preparing to catch the ball.

"I'm serious," Parker continued. "My mom was up my ass this last week after fining Jay's bong in my truck and I haven't drank, fucked or so much as gotten a handjob. I am long overdue and my own hand is not cutting anymore."

Dave snorted. "Let's file that under things we didn't need to share," He laughed tossing the ball back. "We can't go to crazy, Man. You know we have early practice tomorrow to get ready for the scrimmage. Coach is not going to be cool with his entire team hungover."

"it's..a....scrimmage," Parker said slowly and lazily. "I am more likely to give a fuck about a girl and settle down than giving a fuck about a goddamn scrimmage. Besides we're playing Falcon High. Those faggots aren't worth my time to even want to go to practice sober. They can blow me for all I care."

Dave shook his head but said nothing as he caught the pass. He was about to send it back until he heard the sounds of a vehicle rumbling down the road. Curious, he turned to see a lime green Jeep Wrangler turning into the house three doors down from where he lived.

"That is a 2019...." Dave said, in awe. Dave was a huge Jeep fan, having owned and worked on his 1993 Wrangler. Parker rolled his eyes.

"Easy with the boner there, Jeep Fag," Parker muttered. "That must be the new kid I heard about. I heard their super fucking rich. Even so by our standards here in good Ol' Peyton, Colorado."

Mateo climbed out of the back of the car, stretching a bit and taking in their surroundings. Being their first time here in Peyton, they were taken aback by the sight of their home. It wasn't outwardly as flashy like their place back home. Instead, it had a quiet sense of luxury. Compromised mostly of brick, the house itself was beautiful with the patio for the two bedrooms in the front and the beautiful yard with the perfectly manicured shrubs and beds of flowers.

"Well, we've been here two minutes and Maty hasn't even a grunt of dislike," Luisa teased her child. She pulled them into a hug. "Dare I say you are pleased, dear?"

"Very," Mateo said with a slight chuckle. "This flower arrangement is impeccable."

"Your mother insisted on hiring a horticulturist," Juan explained as he grabbed some boxes from the back. "I told her it was her anniversary gift."

Mateo laughed softly. "Mom, Dad, this really actually made me feel a little better about moving here," They said. "It almost feels like our old house. All that is missing is my jeep. Have we gotten word on the repairs?"

"Your Cherokee is dead....transmission and engine issues, Maty," Juan said with a sad smile, as Mateo's eyes widened. "It's a 34 year old car, son;"

Mateo frowned at the son comment but was too focused on the news of his car. "Dad, that car Is basically family. Granddad, Uncle Silas and You all drove it and I've been driving it the last year. We have more than enough money to repair it. You just brought yourself a brand new car...so you can't afford to fix mine?"

"Mateo," Luisa said softly but Juan held his hand up;

"Yes, I brought myself a new vehicle....Yes, we have more than enough money to repair a car that as you said is basically family," Juan said looking Mateo directly in the eye. "Following your words, son, our family vehicle that has seen you as its 4th driver, saw you defiling it by having an affair in with your teacher, which has now forced us to move here for a fresh start. I am sure you can understand how that stain isn't going to be a part of our fresh start here."

Mateo stood speechless as their father pulled out his cellphone and texted their phone;

"But for my entitled child, I have already secured you a vehicle," He said placing the phone in his pocket;"Catch yourself an uber to the address and you can pick it up yourself. I am sure you will be pleased. In the meantime, your mother and I need to await the movers to get here. Please be home in 2 hours. We're going out for dinner."

Without another word or backwards glance, Juan walked inside the house. Luisa paused for a second, placing her hand on Mateo's arm.

"He didn't mean it like that, Maty," She began. "He just is a little tense with the move and..."

"Mom, you really need to learn to stop making excuses for everyone," Maty said, their usual distant demeanor returning. "Your husband, my father is an ass...and your prodigy child is a fuck-up. You should go help him. I'll be fine."

Mateo turned and walked down the end of the driveway, already regretting letting themselves feel a moment of happiness and normalcy for once.

Parker let out a slow breath, as he watched the family standing with Dave. "An interracial family with a daughter who has blue hair," He noted. "Interesting. Gotta say she looks hot for a black chick from what I see. Nice and tight looking body. Nice ass...Tits look perky in that dress."

Dave raised his eyebrows at the critique. "She also appears to be significantly richer than even the rest of us here in Peyton," He added. "Tags say Massachusetts. Which probably spells self-absorbed private school chick."

But parker wasn't listening. "Have you ever fucked a black girl?" He asked him. "I mean, on the low. You know the heat we'd get if we were seen fucking black chicks. But have you? Closest I got was last year, I got head from a freshman. She was one of those decently smart ones. Not the ratchet, ghetto, black lives matters type."

"Racist much?" Dave said, slightly offended. "No, I haven't...You know I've been with Keeley the last two years and she was my first."

"Oh yeah, I forget Mr. Romance here has never had any extracurricular fun except for this summer when you two broke up," Parker said rolling his eyes. "I've always wondered....is the pussy just as good or better? From the porn I watch, they definitely know how to ride it well."

Dave shook his head but tensed up as Parker starting walking in the direction. "Wait, what are you doing?"

"I'm going to introduce myself and see if she is down to fuck," Parker said, with a glance back. "I feel forward is the best apology. A hot bitch like that doesn't dress that sexy with a see-through dress and that short if she isn't down to fuck. Tell her I'll get her introduced to all the right people and she is in my bed within the hour....Works with all underclassmen. I am good at getting girls in bed, maybe I can convince her to do a train. Your house is closer after all."

"Shit," Dave said jogging after him. "Dude, don't...."

Mateo looked up to see two guys jogging towards them and raised his eyebrows in mild irritation as both stood in front. They had to admit that both were highly attractive. One, had a cocky look about him....Mateo's usual type back in Mass. Dripping in arrogance, tall, muscular but toned not ripped...curly hair with dirty blonde locks. Pink lips and blue eyes. But here in Colorado, his usual type already looked annoying. The other, was attractive....significantly buffer, facial hair that made him look at least in his 20s yet the way he carried himself was obviously in a boyish manner with his brown hair cut low.

"What?" Mateo asked, annoyed at the intrusion.

"Easy babe," Parker said with a smirk. "I'm Parker Slater and this is Dave Lapre. It looks like you're new around here."

"What gave it away?" Mateo asked sarcastically. "The out of state license plates?"

"And the fact, I know every hot girl around here and I don't know you," Parker said with a shrug.

"You say that as if it is a bad thing," Mateo replied back, words dripping with venom. This was not the time to deal with overly flirtatious boys.

Dave snorted, drawing Mateo's eyes to him, much to Parker's annoyance of Mateo's lack of interest.

"I'm Parker slater," He continued. "This is Dave Lapre."

Dave waved awkwardly as Mateo scanned him up and down before rolling his eyes back to Parker.

"You're giving me introductions, I didn't ask for and I am trying to figure out at what point did I give you inclination that I wanted them," They said.

"Just being friendly, babe," Parker said, mildly annoyed that Mateo didn't seem as impressed as he felt he should be. "Nothing wrong with the two hottest football wanting to give the new girl a welcome."

Mateo scoffed. Usually when meeting people, they usually told people they were genderqueer.....and explained if they had questions.

"If it makes you feel safer knowing, I am one of the top guys around here. I got money as well. My dad is the sheriff around here," Parker continued.

"My dad works in software and makes close to 1 mill a year," Mateo retorted. "Which likely propels me higher in income and social status than you, Preston....if the house didn't give it away and the 2019 in the driveway."

Mateo knew the boys name but something about his arrogance rubbed them wrong....and he had no problem letting him think they were female. It was a game they didn't mind playing, and would be entertaining.

"Now get the hell off my properly before I have to send for your father to remove you," Mateo said firmly, looking Parker dead on with no emotion in their eyes.

Parker scoffed. "You're kind of a bitch," He muttered as he stormed past Dave.

"Only kind of?" Mateo sad allowed. "I must be going soft and I've been here al of 10 minutes."

They turned to walk towards the steps but stopped when they noticed Dave was still standing there.

"Yes?"

Dave smiled at them, causing Mateo's frown to soften slightly.

"Welcome to Peyton," He said quietly. "I hope to see you around, neighbor."

Mateo watched as Dave jogged across the street. Dave look back one time and threw a hand up. Mateo lifted their hand up in response, unsure why they were doing so.
