The Nextworld Invasion and the Death of Magic involves the gathering of a team of people from three unique races, who need to come together and try to find a way of stopping an invasion... by the Humans! This is a story about people. There is action every step of the way that helps bring the individuals closer, and strange wonders surprise even the most seasoned among them.

How far will they be willing to go? Where will their decisions take them?  And what will be left of them when they're done?

There are a lot of action sequences, but very little gore and violence compared to some of my other books! I'd say this book is probably 12yo+ appropriate.

I was wary at first, this didn't seem my kind of book. But I thought, I liked the author's other work. And I wanted something to read on the train.

I loved the story, it's so wonderfully tightly written. Characters are engaging and the whole story gave me reasons to keep coming back to it and turning the pages.

Look, don't take my word for it, just sit and read it and see what you think of it. I think you will be as surprised by it as I was. Genuinely good work.
