Rabbit Holes

Standing in a rabbit hole, surrounded by colors

You wrap your hands around me like a vine, I’m attached to you

Our tears dance today down our faces as broken memories reappear

Why everyone around us is trying to pull us apart I will never know

Were glued together today, so why do they even bother

Your safe in my hands, know I will never let you go

They all just seem to stare, as we crumble, mourning the death of our fallen friend

This is not a circus show

Where there is no sympathy in their eyes, all I see are lions

The days are getting darker, the air colder

You fall into my arms, know I will never let you go

I hold you to my heart, wishing I could take
