Emotions, memories, and ideas battle for control. Reflection helps me process and purge, changing who I am and how I understand my place in the world. Just a short poem for someone special. I hope all my readers can appreciate it.

Verse about life, love and loss

Translations of early German Expressionist poet Toni Schwabe. Along with Elsa Gidlow and Renée Vivien, her delicate-but-frank explorations of same-sex love established much of the territory fellow Lesbian poets celebrated vociferously in the latter part of the 20th century. As far as I know, this is the first substantial collection of the poet's work to be rendered in English.
