I trust your instincts on all things because it is beautiful to me. Above all else be true to thine own self LB as Shakespeare once said. Never ever doubt you are a gifted loving author I for one admire!❤️

That’s great as long as he explores his boy curiosity deeper to see if that develops into bisexuality and just doesn’t stuff it deep into a closet like a lot of boys do. Most bisexual boys started curious and drunk often lets those boys open up more about their hidden desires in a way that lets them feel safe and not gay when acting on those desires. I don’t see Christian the type to just ignore it as he faces things head on. In any case whatever you create will be special for all involved because that is the type of writer you are in my opinion!
-
For sequel I would enjoy Christian exploring his bisexual emotional side deeper. Definitely would like to see Jonah get a true love BF through Nick helping him. I also enjoy when a little jealousy creeps in because it always does in new love, but not to the degree it causes a meltdown again. I like the type of jealousy that actually makes the relationship stronger and grow deeper love in the end, but also adds a bit of exciting tense drama. I would like Nana to let her love for Jack cause her to become sober long term and for Jack to realize he was what caused that good thing to happen.

I think hope is the most important word in every language. Jack and Nick need to cling to their hope for a better tomorrow!

I just hope Chapter 45 leans on hope for a joyful loving future for Nick and Jack without any unsettling cliffhangers.
-
Until Jack heals and learns boundaries about boys Nick hangs with, like Tommy, it worries me that Nick is deciding it’s ride or die on being friends with Tommy regardless of how that might hurt Jack.
-
Nick is headed for bad times if his plan is to spend any alone time with Tommy. Nick should point blank tell Jack he will never spend alone time with Tommy even if that means Nick has to accompany Jack to Nana’s. Leaving Nick alone with Tommy will further traumatize Jack in a really bad abandoned emotional way. It does not matter if Nick does nothing wrong because Jack will take it the same as if he chose Tommy over him. The solution is rather simple if Nick loves Jack. Wait to spend any alone time as a friend with Tommy until Jack trusts Nick enough to tell him it is ok to spend limited alone friend time with Tommy.
-
The one person Nick needs to have a heart to heart with is his mom. He needs to tell her what happened from her good intentions, how it backfired, and explain to his Mom he needs her to stop messing with his love life, good or bad intentions aside. It’s time for Nick to be a young man and not a little boy with his mom.

Great story that beautifully progresses as these boys grow up experiencing life and learning from it as they wade through the building of a lasting commitment to each other. I expect the Summer to be fun with enough Tommy drama to keep it all real. Jack is prolly going to have meltdown feeling left out of Nick’s growing friendship with Tommy. I can see Jack easily feeling that as emotional cheating by Nick.

I think this is a great chapter which captures Nick and Jacks true love perfectly. I cut Jonah a lot of slack because a 14 yo is not an adult.
-
Finally had time to read this chapter as I am traveling in India right now. The chapter is great Little Buddha! At 14 Jonah needs a really good blowie to just experience being a very young gay boy! There is a reason 14 yo’s need to experiment and explore other than just being in deep love. Nick’s rejection of Jonah was the right thing for him to do.

Nana seriously needs to get laid🥰

Nick and Jack never stopped loving each other. That makes me happy! Those guys are meant to be forever like the stars in the night sky!

I think what happens with Nick and Jack is normal in all relationships when the honeymoon period is kinda over. The make up sex makes it better though. Moody happens to everyone and sometimes ends in harsh words that are not the true cause of the problem. Jealousy is like whiplash when you are in your first gay teenage relationship which is how Nick reacted to Jack and Christians call. Being normal though never makes it less painful. Can’t wait until they make up and kiss it all better. Me thinks Jack is naturally emerging to be the bottom boy😇 and Nick is having a bad case of 🤬👹

Good riddance to the stink bomb man! Looks like the new house parent is going to have a calming impact on the guys. If Jonah likes her she will be awesome in her new role and she has a great sense of humor. i love that Nick and Jack are slowly discovering true sexual intimacy with each other and treating each other with gay boy love and respect.

At least Taco Bell has some healthy fresh offerings but not so well with White Castle. Of course Mom ordered the worst which sadly seems to appeal to Nick and Jack. But shame on Mom for not including some of the better fresh offerings from Taco Bell☹️ I admit I am very focused on my physical self which leads to cuter dudes in pursuit….lol

Very good chapter that perhaps gives a glimpse of what Nick and Jacks long term future might look like. White Castle is a no for me because they have everything fried or greasy and nothing with fresh Ingredients, but it is a food junkies heaven in the fried/greasy world. I bet White Castle is a Mr. Johnston go to place for fuel…(‿∣‿) 💨 oops Hoping Jack’s Nana turns out to be the real source of the big money in his family and reigns down hell on his parents when she finds out the trauma they have put Jack through his entire life. Dogs are better than most people I know because they are the epitome of unconditional love. Love you Mr. Bojangles!❤️

Bejesus…where did the school recruit nasty Mr. Jonnston from and how did he pass a background check? He makes me think of every teacher that comes from OldPervs-R-Us.
-
I am so glad the author is keeping Jonah exactly as he is with no severe mental issues. I love that little funny dude! Also glad Mr. Johnston is going away at some point. I get emotionally attached and protective of characters like Nick, Jack and Jonah.
-
Mr. Johnston’s quid pro quo comment has me worried he expects something in return from Nick and/or Jack. It has the possibility to be really scary at an all boys school. I hope he just means following the new rules. Jonah shows signs of being manic/depressive at the drop of a hat. I really hope he is just a gay boy struggling like we all did with coming to terms with what a loving healthy relationship looks like. Poor guy is really struggling it seems. Love Jonah’s sense of humor to pieces.
-
Enjoyed the love and humor in this chapter. New teacher is nasty business for sure.
-
I worry for Jack because his parents seem to be the kind of parents that would force him to go to a conversion camp after getting a call their son was gay and had been caught in inappropriate behavior. Jack would not be able to survive a forced conversion camp.
-
I would not be surprised if the Headmaster is forced to retract the punishment given. Possibly forced to resign if media gets involved.
-
I felt this Chapter was very well written! I am glad Nick and Jack are not in this alone now and still have each other.
