    This tribute to the fallen, has more than anything else so far, forged a bond between all the parties that will never be broken, a true brotherhood. This chapter was shorter than all of the rest but more meaning full than most before it. Great chapter, thank you.

    Everyone is now on the same page. The game plan has been laid out and end goals for each and all identified. With direction in place the big unknown remains how long will all of this take and will all be able to go or be able to find home. Great chapter, thank you.

    Paul a Commodore, with his own Fleet, wow. U-2 is really starting to sound like a CSU. Maybe this is just a coincidence (very suspicious). What will Paul do or rather what will Admiral Davis let Paul do? What ever it is will affect all three universes. Great chapter, thank you.

    So at this point we elements of two universes on a spaceship of a third universe. One is stuck there for the moment or possibly for ever. One can go back, but back to what, certain defeat. What can Paul of our third universe do to help, if he is allowed to? Questions. Great chapter, thank you.

    So Artie is back in the picture. You know, Long and his family sound vaguely like members of Clan Family Short, hmm. Now, Paul is right in the middle of it all and taking control of the situation. What will Admiral Davis think of all this, how will the Fleet respond? Questions. An absolutely smashing chapter, thank you.

    Poison gas and willing to kill hundreds if not thousands to get who exactly. Paul wasn't close by. Was it against any meta, how did they know? Questions? Great chapter, thank you.

    Hmm, Tobor had said there were 16 others in Fleet. So there a few (a lot) more to find. It does seem as if these others are being drawn towards Pauls' group. What is the reason, the purpose of it all? Who(m) is (are) pulling the strings in the back ground? Another great chapter, thank you.

    I must remind myself to push that damn spell check button before I push send. No attacks, but his cadre of metas is growing by leaps and bounds. Where to next, is there a promotion (for him), still so many questions, more answers if you please. Great chapter, thank you.

    Good grief, three attacks in one chapter. Who ever THEY are, they certianly want Paul or is it Danny (or both) dead, why? Will Paul make Captian, where will they go next? Is this great stuff or what, YES. Great chapter, thank you.

    I am the kind of guy who sees a glass as half full ( not empty ). This opening chapter all but confirmed my philosophy. It was everything I was hoping for after CH 12 of your last. Paul has found someone, a son yes, but still, now, he was no longer alone. Thank you very much for this thrilling start.

    (2) It's really important that everyone should feel comfortable asking questions in this forum. Sometimes it is difficult to sense tone in written form - we may have some "banter" on here, but its all in good nature and part of a long conversation giving different viewpoints Kookie, your question was one I was going to ask, but you beat me to it. Westie, your opinions are always welcomed, viewpoints appreciated and answers highly informative. I for one look forward to your posts. Besides I'm thick skinned. Have a safe trip.

    Kookie I did not misunderstand you. I was mearly pointing out (from past experience) that what you have done, is analogous to having thrown out a bone with plenty of meat still on it to a pack of starving demon dogs (possibly related to a certain author and beta reader). Good luck.

    It likely ( a fore gone conclusion actually ) that in comparison to the meaning of life as we know it or the creation of the universe, this is a non event. However, here and now (on this site), it is commendable achievement. Well done Mark, you have the deserved honour of having the 1st, 3rd and 4th T.R.S. of GA. Thank you also my fellow followers of ' The Odyssey ' for what you have done to make this happen.

    Its over, I can't believe it. So many questions left to ask and no time for answers. The mainframe is sentient and looking out for him, wow. Damn his veil, is he destined to be alone? This was a fantastic story and I hope you continue on with the adventure. Thank you ever so much. Live long and prosper.

    This was/is a story that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I will look for others in this series, with great anticipation. As time passes I know I will return to again read these chapters and enjoy them as much once more. Thank you for this great story.
