Stef doesn’t yet see it through any other lens. I’m sure he will get there eventually.
I think Stef has a lifetime of rationalizing all that ever happened to him without his consent, and there is a lot - maybe more than every other character combined. For a man who naturally compartmentalizes his life, he doesn’t instinctively get Will’s defense of Brad.
I love how Brad’s instinct is to turtle with his favorite human, and make sure his walls are strong, before seeing Stef. He defused his own bomb. What a great single chapter to show both Brad and Will maturing. JP will be proud.
