For someone who fought so hard for control over his own life, I’m amazed at how well that Will is handling his non-control of how people are treating him. I wonder if he ends up a little pissed at Jeremy after all, for the exposure. And all of this is happening juuuust before social media became the monster it is. Which means we get a circle back to Will’s Facebook investment and the fintech bros.
Just a little hint of Brad in this chapter, give me more of my favorite berserker 😍😍
Not only did Jeremy’s plan backfire, but it wasn’t clever at all. He irritated Kris and Will, and barely bothered with Travis. And everyone saw through it. A little bit of JJ leaking through. I see some storm clouds on the horizon 😈
Hahaha love the articles! I remember that Facebook exploded into the mainstream at the end of 2007. Travis has no idea of the grace period in which he gaily exists. This was a fun chapter!
I grew up with hurricanes, and yet the chaos around Katrina is in an infamous category of its own. The previous poster is right, FEMA is supposed to support local and state efforts. A lot of things have improved since then. Also, from that storm, the United Cajun Navy was born, and that group continues to provide support and relief where and when they can.
I wonder what was the threat of Julian? Creepy human with bad intentions, or supernatural threat? I cannot wait to find out, finally, who the shadows are! They have been a menace for so long!
Kris continuing to give off vibes. I wonder who will catch him first, Jeremy or Will. I love the money vibes of this chapter, and Will getting railed twice in one night.
Way to go Granger! Standing up for two of his men, smoothing things over with the cabinet and with St Vincent, and him and Cavendish geeking out over Daventry in the baths. All before setting off on another adventure. Is it still Thanksgiving or is it Christmas already!!
