  1. I know you (jjqinn) have other great stories in the telling (that's a recommendation to those of you reading this), but I sure want to read the rest of this tale. Maybe some day in the future? I didn't expect to encounter a trans woman and an asexual cis man in this setting, but I'm really glad you included them. I'd love to read more about their relationship. And your comment about the main readership of gay romance novels is pretty funny (and apparently fairly spot-on). Thank you.
  2. Definitely worth reading, especially by anyone who has ever been bullied. It's a well-written story. (Though it could use some proofreading 😀) It probably is a reflection on me that the author's blurb made me think the story was going to go in a totally different direction. 😀

    Choices

A thoughtful exploration of the small choices that lead to larger results. The chronology of the story is a tad disorienting are first, but it makes sense in the end. I hope that adding a review will encourage more people to read this story. Thank you for sharing it with GA.
  4. One of the best stories I have read on Gay Authors, and I have read a lot! Because the story is almost all from the perspective of a young man with autism ("Keith")--and the author does such a good job describing what is going on in his mind--the reader is totally drawn into his world. And it is a fascinating world! The plotting of the story makes Keith's gradual realization that he is in love with his brother very believable, as is his ostensibly straight brother's eventual realization that he also is in love with Keith. I found myself totally caught up in the emotions of the protagonist (lots of tears shed!) and had a difficult time putting my Kindle reader down. The story challenges stereotypes about people on the autistic spectrum, and our society's knee-jerk taboo on incest. (If love/sex between siblings is totally consensual and there is no worry about producing children with genetic problems, why is there a taboo?) I would love to see this story published in book form! Kudos to the author. If he has written more stories on other platforms, I would love to know about it!
