Cold Summer Night - 1. Chapter 1

I stand on the shore, all alone.

The light grows dim and I think about home.

All the times we disagreed, the one who was wrong,

well, it was always me.

As the sun is swallowed by the sea,

I wonder if anyone will remember me.

I did my best, and what I thought was right,

As I stand here alone, on this cold summer night.

So, you did what was best and what you thought was right and walked back home?

Hahaha! Considering that I was spending the summer in California (aka my mom shipped me away for 3 months) and home was in Baltimore, MD…no, I didn’t walk back home. That was a really tough time in my life. I didn’t think I would make it through it and have an opportunity to look back on it someday.
