Em's GA Prompt Stories - 2. #112 — His Chair
Giving poetry a shot with this GA prompt.
He sat in the chair,
Day after day. His house lost.
With nowhere to go.
Years he spent homeless.
No one cared or gave it thought.
Quietly he sat.
The Old Homeless Man,
He was called. His story lost.
Known only to him.
Days passed, became years.
Thousands and thousands walked by,
Rare few stopped to talk.
One day he was gone.
Found dead outside, in winter.
Now they all stood still.
The word spread like fire.
Flowers were left, candles lit.
His chair full of gifts.
Those that never stopped,
Now stood in front of his chair.
“We’ll miss you,” they said.
…as if.
RIP Travis.
Give the prompt a go.
Give the prompt a go.
