Smoked Clarity - 3. Lost
I've forgotten,
Who I was,
Who I am,
And what I wanted to become.
Under these constraints,
I threw away my humanity,
The concern, worry,
Anger & cheer,
Slowly I tore bits,
Of my soul off to decay.
My personality clashes,
Like two fuchsia walls,
Parallel,
Never to meet.
Will I ever honestly care,
About a friend,
Or foe,
In pain or dying.
To be me,
Is to tear,
Your being,
To shreds.
The beauty I can see,
Is bloody & cruel,
Every wound,
Every death,
Shines on not ruled.
Unchallenged,
Unsullied,
A piece of me stay,
Locked away in the dark,
Never to see day.
It's how I know,
I am lost,
Disheveled,
And will stay this way.
