Tell No Secrets - 1. Tell No Secrets

Short Stories

Tell no secrets. Tell no lies.

Tell no one of my demise

Death's come a knocking I answered the door

Laying here bleeding on the cold floor

Sirens blaring, feet rushing in;

Heart still pumping. Thought you were a friend

Needle in my arm. Brace on my head.

People trying hard to make me not dead.

Watching from above. Blood dripping down.

Doctor looks worried; the nurse wears a frown

Naked on the table exposed for all to see

Death came a calling, set me free.

Heart stopped beating, breathing no more

Blood stopped dripping on the floor

Don't want no flowers on my grave

Tell my sister to be brave

Tell no secrets, tell no lies

Tell no one of my demise.
