A Gay Christmas Carol in Prose: Being a Sexy Ghost Story of Christmas - Prologue. Prologue

This story is an adaptation of the classic work “A Christmas Carol in Prose, Being a Ghost Story of Christmas” by Charles Dickens and a classic work of fiction. Any and all resemblances with people or events is purely coincidental.

Those of you who ever read the original may notice I used sever of the characteristic phrases Charles Dickens used in the original story, like the first sentence in the first chapter. Also, like Dickens, I called the chapters "staves" which is an old word for "verse".

Although I don't think I'm a great writer like Dickens definately was, I plan to publish this story in weekly episodes with the chapter dealing with Christmas Day being published in Christmas day 2011. A huge difference of course is I'll be using the internet, here at gayauthors.org where Dickens had to use the newspaper. When the entire story is published I intend to create an eBook-version of it. If you want to receive that, send me a message.

As the title already suggest this story contains elements of man to man love and sex. If you live in a part of the world where it is illegal to read about this or if this offends you, please leave this story alone. Otherwise, enjoy.

One final advice:

In fiction unprotected sex might have no consequences but in real life it can kill you. Trust me, as a doctor I've have seen my share to deaths that could have been prevented.

Don't be a fool and wear protection while having casual sex!
