[Glad you are feeling better LB. Loved your Chapter 5. I also thought your comment in the forum on DD Ch 36 was very shrewd. Still DD was a staggering achievement and parts of it I love more than anything else I have read.

Hope your future plans work out. There is no way that I personally know of to stop worrying and with regard to age, the line from Simon & Garfunkel about older than you were but younger than you will be sort of helps me

Could you take a year off and decompress? I don't know how the education system works over there but maybe a little while of just working at something low stress (you could teach english and then pretend you don't know what the kids are talking about and then rock their world when you totally burn them in chinese!)

I tried the whole "English teaching" thing the first two years I was here ... and it's not about teaching at all, but making money for the owner of the school, so it ended up being more stressful than anything else I've ever done. I've had too much time to decompress, probably, since the past year all I've done is stay at home and work on my thesis. Since I have a scholarship, I don't really have to work, and I finished my thesis (at least the writing part of it) pretty fast. So, I feel like I need to get started on my future career, whatever that may be ... *sigh*

But thanks for the suggestion!
