Be A Millionaire Day is on May 20. On this day pretend to be a millionaire or start working on your plans that you think will make you a millionaire.

A millionaire is someone who is worth a million units in his or her country's currency. According to the 2014 Global Wealth Report, a study conducted by the Boston Consulting Group, there were about 16 million millionaire households in 2013. The United States had the highest number of millionaires at 7.1 million households, with China coming in second at 2.4 million millionaire households.

How to Celebrate?

Get started on making your life plans possible. If that means going to school or getting a new degree, why not enroll in school today?

When I asked my friend if she was planning to attend church, she just shook her head. "I haven't gone in a long time," she said.

It was time for my dog's annual checkup. Following the vet's instructions, I collected a stool sample and dropped it in a plastic container before we left for his office. When we arrived, I handed the sample to the receptionist, who immediately cracked a smile. The container read "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter."

One afternoon while I was visiting my library, I noticed a group of preschoolers gathered for story time. The book they were reading was "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly." After the librarian finished the first page, she asked the children, "Do you think she'll die?"

"Nope," a little girl in the back said. "I saw this last night on 'Fear Factor.' "

Our elementary school was honoring local veterans. The students were a bit intimidated and didn't know how to approach them.

"Start by introducing yourself,"

I said. "Then ask what branch of the military they served in."

One student walked over to a vet and promptly asked, "What tree are you from?"
