I'm Kris. I'm queer and autistic. Finding this site has been a pleasant discovery. My current project is Extra Napkins, an open-ended serial about queer and neurodiverse folks trying to figure out life and themselves in the mid-1990s. It's both a noir black comedy and a slow burn romance, inspired by the experiences of myself and my friends during that period. It wears its nostalgia on its sleeve. One of betas called it "A Vonnegut story hijacked by queer weirdos." I'm not entirely convinced that's accurate, but it'd make a heck of a pull quote for a cover. I currently have over 80,000 words and 100 scenes of it to post before I begin posting the scenes I'm writing today. Early parts of it briefly appeared on my website for beta readers, but other than that, GA will be its public debut.
