It was so hard to pull myself from the bed, but I could feel my body telling me I had too go the bathroom. I pushed the white sheet that had ended up over us off my body and slipped out of bed. I reached for my boxers to walk to the bathroom, but realized it was only me and Chris. I smiled and headed to the bathroom as is. I relieved me thinking about all that was to come for Chris and me. So far the trip was turning out to be amazing. I finished up and headed back to our room.

The next two months were a serious blur. My classes had gotten ten times harder as we only had a few weeks left before the AP exams. Then there was work, my bosses had fired the other guy that did my job meaning that I was left with crazy hours and training a new kid. He was a good kid, just a lot of work. Then there was also the Conor and Shannon situation. It had been tough getting them to tell their parents and listening to their parents freak out on them. However, in the end we were all work

I could feel all the color drain from my face as I looked up from my phone. I just stared into Chris’ eyes as he watched me. Then it hit me. I had to go. I spun around and looked around for my coat, which I had taken off earlier. I felt Chris grab my shoulder and I turned around to face him. He was holding my jacket out and nodding. I grabbed the jacket from him and mouthed the words, “thank you.” “No problem,” he answered. I started to run upstairs with my phone in my hand and

The month of February came faster than I had planned. Before I realized it, I only had a few days until Valentines Day and I had not given any thought to what I would get Chris. I knew he was planning something special for me; he had been dropping hints everyday for a month. I was excited. As I stepped out of the car, the wind whipped across my face, it was really chilly out. I walked into the store and was embraced by the warmth. I took off the sun glasses I had been wearing to block the gla

Going back to school after vacation sucks! My teachers were acting crazy, they were loading me with work and I had little time to talk to Chris. It took so much effort not to whip out my cell phone and text him during all my classes As the week progressed I became more and more anxious for my HawkTalk speech. I spent a little time each night and free period perfecting it. I tried to incorporate everything I was thinking all at once. Only problem was that my first draft was about three pages

I sat in the pick up area of the airport waiting in Chris’ car. Chris and his parents should be arriving any second back from their little Christmas trip. I had dropped them off the day they had left because so they didn’t have to leave Chris’ truck sitting there all week. All of a sudden there was a loud “BANG!” on the window next to me. I jumped out of the seat. I turned my head to the window to see a hooded guy standing laughing. I realized it was Chris. I swung the door open and hopped

Christmas was a hassle and a half. I worked almost all day Christmas Eve and once I got home my mom had me rushing around doing everything possible for my family. Finally I was able to sit down and relax. Around me were my cousins Sarah, Joe, Anthony, Jena, and Stephen, they were all older than me but all younger than 30. In the kitchen, our parents were sitting laughing and joking. My cousins were all talking about some night they went to the bar. I started to listen. “Yeah that

So it took about an hour into the dance for the pictures to hit Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and every other possible social network. Then about 20 minutes after that, every phone in the dance went off receiving the pictures. The whole seen reminded me of one out of like Gossip Girl. You had our group from Chris’ house dancing in a circle. Deb and I were grinding and Chris and Jess were too. Then we would break into a big group so I could get some Chris action, but we would make sure we were encir

verything seemed back to normal again. For the next two weeks Chris and I almost never stopped talking. He even got me to start texting during class… I never did that before I was always the good boy. I would go over and see him for a few minutes after school, before I went home to do my homework or go to work. He stayed home for the first few days but then started to get back in the swing of things. At first he had to get wheel around because his body was so bruised but by middle of the s

this time we only advise one off you to go. Sorry.” “Oh my god! Thank the Lord!” Mrs. Thomas exclaimed. She jumped from my arms and hugged the doctor. He patted her on the back and said, “Whichever one of you wants to come should follow me.” I saw Mrs. Thomas look at Mr. Thomas and then she moved her eyes to me. “Kyle! Mr. Thomas and I want to be able to see Chris together. As long as I know he’s okay I’m fine. Please you go Chris would really want to see you.” I started getting nerv

Then it finally ended. Everything just stopped. I couldn’t move. I wanted to but I just couldn’t. I watched as Chris’ body just laid there not moving. It felt like forever. I watched as the coach and medic raced out to see him. I still couldn’t move. Then finally they started to load him on the stretcher and then I moved. I hurdled over the railing and then sprinted towards the other side of the field where they were taking him. When I reached there they were loading him into an ambula

Today was the day, the day I was going to work to get Chris back. I had decided to wait until Thanksgiving day to try and talk to him. I figured if I wait until then I could go to his big game and surprise him after he won against Weytown, my hometown. I could show him how much I cared to come and try to talk to him. I had it all worked out in my head. The night before I didn’t sleep a wink, so I woke up at 7 and the game wasn’t until 10. I decided to go out and talk to my mom in the kitche

The week went by quick. Had about 6 tests and a million papers so all my time was spent being consumed by that. When Saturday morning rolled around I remembered the date I had set up Shit! It wasn’t that I didn’t want to go out with Lauren it just was… Well I text Lauren early in the morning and asked her if we were still on for tonight. After she answered yes I just sat around. Around six I started too get ready. I through on a pair of cargo shorts and an AE t shirt. I put on a little Holli

A week…maybe two… I had been sitting on my bed. Not moving, not crying, not watching tv, and maybe not even sleeping. I really didn’t remember. The only times I would get up and move was for the occasional meal and work, because I had to. Even there I wasn’t myself. I barely remember driving there or doing my work. It was kind of like I just did it without thinking. It was like I was watching myself without having control. The first week there had been calls. Second week there were texts. Pro

I felt his hand grab mine as we drove down the highway. The windows were slightly open so I felt the breeze on my hair and I looked over to see him smiling. "I could do this every night! Drive down the highway with my babe in the passenger seat and the country music rocking." Chris howled and laughed. I couldn't help myself but join in on his laughing. "I told you'd enjoy country music big guy." "I love it and definitely enjoying the idea of relaxing with a beer tonight and playing it."

A month passed since that night at my house after the party. Chris and mine’s relationship continued without any problems. We hung out as much as we could. We got to know each other, each other’s family, each other’s friends, and continued to have our “innocent” sleepovers. We never moved past the jerking stage in the relationship, and that we even only did a few times. It was good we were taking it slow. It was now the beginning of August, and Chris was going to be beginning football training t

So all my worries had been for nothing… There was no flaming ending. I didn’t get some disease. I’m not pregnant (not like a could be). Granted it was only jerking off I had worried that it would drastically change the dynamic of our relationship but it hasn’t. Its been a week and we have still talked every night on the phone. Hung out a couple times this week still with no pressure. Granted we hadn’t spent everyday together because we were trying to balance our friends and work in. But tonight

He was definitely going to get bored of this. The flirting, the hooking up, and the nothing more. He could get whatever piece of ass he wants and he picked me. So do I give it up to him? Do I make it easy or hard? Its so confusing. I’ve read so much online and there are stories out there that make it sound like its okay to jump in the sack with a guy right away, because there’s no getting pregnant. But I still want it to be special! So confusing. Like I knew I had been wicked turned on during o

4 am that was the last time I remember looking at the clock on my bed stand. That was the moment at which I could no longer hold my head up to continue the five hour texting conversation I had been having with my new boyfriend. Oh wow that word is so new to me. I finally woke up at about 11:30 and realized that I was suppose to be at Chris’ at 12. I hopped out of bed and right into the shower. I was rushing because I knew his house was about a 20 minute drive, but not a clue where i

The beach was empty besides us sitting there. We were just looking at each other and our hands were entwined. We hadn’t said much in the last hour but we were at peace. Finally I saw him start to pick himself up off the ground and pull me to my feet. We once again stared into each others eyes, and then he leaned in and kissed me softly. This kiss last once again lasted a few seconds. Then he broke away and started to lead me up the steps to the cars. “Where we going?” My voice was soft since

A handshake! I leaned in and then he leaned in and then just as we were getting in close proximity he thrust out his hand and I had to catch myself and pull out my hand. Then we shook and he said, goodnight and walked away with a smile on his face! That video has been replaying in my head for the last two days none stop. His smile, the way he looked, and the way he leaned in towards me. God I don’t understand this! Like I’ve had these obsessions or feelings before after hanging out with a gi

It took about 45 minutes for me to get home and once I was there I realized how beat I actually was. I fell down landing face flat on my bed. I groaned thinking about how tired I was. I decided since it was summer, a Wednesday, and I didn’t have to work then I could treat myself to a little nap. I slowly slipped out of my bed and over to my AC turning it on so my room would cool down and then tugged my cargo shorts down and jumped under the covers and fell fast asleep. It felt so nice laying

Conor, Conor, Conor… a year and a half of friendship (more like brothers) but I still felt like I didn’t know him. We started to be friends through school, but we were still polar opposites. He has a very care free who gives a fuck attitude, where I worry more about my image and what people think of me. He was slowly rubbing off on me and I was starting to care less but he was always still more of a jokester than I was. He used to joke around with me trying to make me feel uncomfortable by hit

Am I really that different than everyone else? Can the way I’m feeling truly be different than what other people are thinking? I looked out into the ocean trying to be calmed by the waves. I’m 16 and about to go into my junior year at an all guys Catholic school. I’m not the school jock, but I’m not the school nerd either. I’m average. I have short brown hair which I like to do a small little flip to in the front. My face is pretty well defined with brown eyes and a mouth full of straigh
