    Chapter 32

LOL! I have never heard such a rousing, flattering (to me), and yet at the same time, self-serving, product endorsement. ๐Ÿ˜ "Scrivner"will now bug me like a song stuck in my head, until I check it out. I can only 'dream' about owning a "Mac". I have 'nightmares' of having to revert to my Windows 10 laptop. Currently, all my compositions are achieved through my iPad Air and my right index finger. Occasioally, GA balks, for reason/reasons unknown, and I am forced to use my laptop. JUST LIKE WHY I ALSO "NEVER"GET ANY EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS! I approach windows with all the trepidation one might expect when dealing with an armed assailant. I know no matter what happens, it's going to be rough, unpredictable, and will end badly. It makes me consider my own impending "old age"....(read that as "Older than current old age".) made up of, slow, straining, awkward, uncooperative and unreasoned actions, coupled with bouts of outright obstinance and the more than occasional blue screen blackouts. (Ok, all that applies now, except for the blackouts.) Thanks for posting your comments. Jim

    Chapter Nineteen

Fixed it. I think I made that mistake before. I hate reading a story and have a stumbling block like the wrong word suddenly appear. Thanks for wanting to make this a better read for those who read it after you. Jim

    Chapter 32

I admire your skill speaking emoji. I never get them right and fear I might offend unintentionally. As to the intruder, I have no qualms in telling you it is Jeremy. I am especially relieved to hear you enjoyed this chapter. I was concerned that it only had Jeff and Paul in the shadows. And yes, Chicago is the new "Christmas" we are all waiting for it to arrive. Seems like it takes forever. Thanks for posting your comments. Jim

    Chapter 32

Ott, LOL! I have decided to use your comments as a barometer for my sex scenes. Nathan, my editor, insisted, Raymond with his pants around his ankles and his feet in the air could "definitely" be construed as hot... Well, I had already written, it was not hot to the casual observer and I try never to go back on my word. But, if you say it is hot... Damn it it must be hot! I stand corrected. I think Raymond learned a valuable lesson in discussing the "house" with Larry and Runt. Thanks for posting your comments. They are always fun to read. Jim

    Chapter 32

Uncle Joe did not give the bad guys money. They are illegally using people's names to make their cash donations appear legal. Chicago is now the new "Christmas". Charlie, I make this up as I go along. I don't keep notes or lists or charts or graphs. It was like a KeyStone cops comedy routine... me shuffling through previous chapters, trying to decide upon what date this chapter takes place. It was so frustrating I had to take a couple of breaks before finally deciding. It delayed the posting of this chapter. Even now, I hesitate to type it out for fear some reader will provide documented evidence that I don't know my own story. Charlie, uh, this what we just did here, uh, the thing is, well, uh, you won't tell anybody about this, er, will you? I mean, I was pretty drunk, and, uh, this was my first... uh, time 'n all. My first time... I mean, I really liked it. So could we maybe... not tell anyone and maybe, er, uh, do it, er, again sometime? Thanks for posting your comments. Jim p/s, To the best of my knowledge, no alchohol was consumed and no sexual favors were exchanged during the posting of this comment and my response.

    Chapter 32

I'll say this again. I am pleased to see this chapter has been so well received. I expected blowback since it featured only Raymond and Daniel. Thanks for posting your comments.

    Chapter 32

I am reassured reading that this was a well received chapter. I was concerned that it really only focused on Raymond and Daniel. Jeremy, is the one who unlocked the door. Thanks for posting your comments. Jim

    Chapter 32

Come on now! You read the chapter. It is no cliffhanger. I thought it would be obvious that Jeremy just "unlocked" the door. "always the first to arrive and the last to leave". Daddydavek, you're just pulling my chain for fun. Thanks for posting your always welcomed comments. Jim

You do understand that contribution was NOT a donation from Joe, don't you? It is a poor attempt to launder illegal campaign contributions. Thanks for posting your comments. Jim

    Chapter 32

To say that Raymond was annoyed at being consciously omitted from the prior eveningโ€™s family meeting was an understatement. He dramatically emphasized his irritation. Jeff and Maria had, ostensibly, come to ride the horses. Paul would have come along except for an emergency call from a client with a sick horse. Grandma had taken Maria into the kitchen, while Joe, Jeff and the newly arrived Raymond gathered in Joe's office. It was completely amicable until Joe revealed the information discu

    Chapter 8

Yeah, I agree about self editing what I meant to write, instead of editing what I actually wrote. I get an editor in later chapters, but still no guarantees. Thanks for letting me know you are enjoying my story. Jim

You are somewhat persnickety. Please continue documenting my mistakes. I promise I will correct them soon. I knew someone would discover my ineptitude. Chapter 15 Final

WOW! If this reminds your of your past, maybe you should be telling the story. Oh, by the way, feel free to deduct the cost of Kleenex from the price you paid for the story.๐Ÿ˜ Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed my story. Jim

    Chapter 30

Thanks for the comments Mike, Jeff was recalling one of his teenage jerk off fantasies. That was the reason for sex on the porch. He used to pretend he was pounding "John" on the porch. That's why the name slipped out. I need to edit that into the next chapter. Thanks again for posting your comments. Jim

Love the "honorific" behind "Adams Family". "Follow the money" is an appropriate adage here. As to the candidate? Would you believe Raymond's mother? he,he,he Thanks for posting your comments. Jim
