Hey Dan I hope you haven't given up on me or the project. I just got back from a pitch fest in LA where I got to pitch the project to a total 20 producer, agents and networks. Now I just have to wait and see who bites. While mostly everyone love the project, got it, said they were going to review the synopsis and comic and asked for contact information it really is still very early. I have total confidence in it and want to be ready if they ask for more. Right now we have 10 episodes I would like to get to 20-22 outlined episodes. I am working on 2 more right now both are a kinda of a redemption type story we need some more bang. I am moving in a month back to LA, once there and have my feet on the ground I plan on trying to get as many face to face meeting and a few more pitch fests as I can. Don't stop believing... Alex

Thanks for the comments.... Again the comic was just to give a visual to the story it really is just a teaser..... I am still plugging along, I have a meeting with an agent on mon that I hope will lead to bigger things. The goal is to get it on a network....I think it would be much better than Flash Gordon on Sci fi. The issues that are being told to me is that Sci Fi is so expensive to produce. But I keep telling evenone that this would be the exception, because most of the story takes place planet side. Wish us luck.... Ahhhhh Dan you are soooo sweet. Yea I can be a bugger.....Well I get the color teaser sometime today. It will be around 6 to 10 pages.....I am so excited. Ok folks.... First let me introduce myself, my name is Alex Bright, Alex Nelson is my pen name. Some of you may have never heard of me but I am a fellow net writer. I am author of the Broken Facades trilogy (shameless plug). I have been a huge fan of Dan since the shaper series. About 3 almost 4 years ago Dan started an amazing story called Imperialis Tellus it was a teaser for a story that Dan wanted to do. I like so many stories that come out of our crazy head it stopped. I have about 20 email a day asking the same questions about stories that I have yet to complete. When I first read the story I was blown away. Being a sci fi junky I beg and pleaded with him to restart and continue. But to no avail

Dan I know you have been a bit busy lately, and you get a lot of BS inquires. But I would really like to talk to you about turning one of you stories into either a TV show or Film. It is one of your incompletes it is Tellus....I see it as the new Battlestar. I would like to talk to you about optioning it and you as a main writer and me as the producer/director. I am currently in LA attending film school to brush up on my writing, Film Business and production. I let a few of my teachers read it and they were blown away. I dont know if you ever concidered doing something like this but I know that I can find the backing and that we can make a great project. Please, please contact me. Imperalis Tellus What is going on with this story......are you going to finish it. I would love to talk to you about turning it into a screen play. I have been a fan of your work for a while now.
