    Thank you for the comments. You are right. So many interpretations. My pastor is gay (as is the Episcopal Bishop of Connecticut). They certainly have their own interpretation.

    As soon as school ended on Friday, Matt followed Rick to his home where he dropped off his car. A little over an hour later, Granddad Tom and Grandpa Geoff greeted the boys.     Rick, whose hobby was horticulture, easily spotted the willow trees at the entrance to the inlet. The kayaks effortlessly moved through the shallow inlet, a spring fed stream that flowed into the lake. They spotted the small beach-like open area where the kayaks could be beached.
