  1. Fantastic chapter as usual. I don't know how I feel about the Morgan/Chase thing, but it was pretty unexpected that Kyle called him to come to the party. I'm worried about the way his kids are acting too, but Cooper's really trying and writing the new book will hopefully show how serious he is about keeping them. Oh, and I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
  2. Welcome back first of all. I do have to admit I felt a little like a creeper checking in every now and then, but I really do enjoy this story. And I also don't like Morgan. Bringing him in was perfect; if Cooper and Chase are ever going to get anywhere his thing with Morgan has to be addressed. When Chase said he wasn't sure if he'd still be with Morgan if he was sober, that was pretty brutal. You've got me going up and down on Chase too, and I can't wait to see how this plays out, as long as it's the way I want it to .
  3. I really liked seeing Sebastian and Spencer giving Cooper advice, it really feels like them living up to their roles from The List. But Morgan at the end? That's soul crushing. I'm mad at Chase, even though I shouldn't be, but I just have to hope he wasn't lying about Morgan before. Not to mention Cooper losing his job (probably) and perhaps both his kids. You really know how to kick a guy when he's down. I say bring Rusty back for full Cooper meltdown. Great work J.
  4. I'm glad Kyle's not going to marry Winston anymore, but I can already hear Spencer yelling at Cooper again. And way to leave us with a huge cliffhanger. I can't see Chase just being cool with this like he usually is with so much else. Great Chapter!
  5. Chase seems to affect me the same way as Cooper; he just can't do wrong. Which will of course be a huge let down when he does something horrible soon enough (probably). I like that we still don't know about his teaching position. And I think we all saw the Chicago thing coming. I spent all week thinking, yeah CJ will probably want to stay with him, and if Mike and Liz are still together she'll probably want to be around, so I'm glad he had the same thoughts too. I'm hoping for that fairytale ending. Great stuff bro.
  6. Sebastian, Spencer and Kyle are being totally unfair about the Cooper/Winston thing, but I suppose it's hard to get that trust back. And his book perhaps being a problem for the university, plus potentially losing his kids to Chicago are pretty fantastic developments I didn't see coming. You never let him catch a break. And then at the end with Chase? That kind of makes him seem like the real deal, but I bet something ends up going not so well. Great chapter!
  7. This chapter was a lot of fun. The four of them playing in the lake was fantastic, and at the end there? I suspect Cooper's growing. Great stuff as usual.
  8. Oh man. Cooper can't ever catch a break, can he? I love the way you make him rationalize stuff, it's like he doesn't even believe himself and he's trying so hard. At least he's a good parent. I would have caved on the birthday party immediately. Keep up the great work dude!
  9. Amazing as usual. I'm loving Chase more and more, and you're doing really well with the scenes with the kids. Keep it up!
  10. Fantastic as always. Keep being amazing. And stay out of the hurricane, if that's coming right for you; someone's gotta keep writing for us.
  11. Oh man. You're killing me, dude; it's like crack. I want Cooper to pick Kyle so bad, because he's the kind of guy I'd want, but then you make Chase do these sickeningly sweet things, and it's like how can you not forgive him? You do a fantastic job manipulating your readers, and that's not an easy thing to do. And as much as I hate them, I love the cliffhangers, which is why I'm still awake at 2:30 reading your work. I don't know what you want to do when you grow up, but you should keep writing. I don't know if this is something you've worked hard at all your life, or if it comes naturally, (or both, they're not mutually exclusive) but you really have a gift.
  12. You made me feel so bad for Kyle in this chapter when he told Cooper he would always be drawn to him. And you've got me acting like Cooper too. I can't decide if I like Chase or Kyle better. I just hope Kyle and Cooper don't make these marriage decisions because the other one is going to get married. You're definitely a drama master. And you killed the parenting scene. Don't worry about the packed chapters, I always enjoy them.
  13. You're terrible, ending it that way. But great as usual.
  14. It felt too good to be true between Chase and Cooper, but I don't think I saw that coming. How do you deal with being left 20 years ago by the guy you love, only to have him come back. And find out he's been married for 14 years? Totally insane! How can you trust Chase at all anymore? I like that you keep bringing the kids into it, because sometimes it's easy to forget that they're all 40 years old now (especially after reading The List). It's good he took CJ out of school; I feel like he's going to have to keep doing things like that to keep Devon from poisoning the kids against Cooper. And they probably won't be too pleased to learn he left their mom for a guy he always loved more anyway. And I think I've told you this about 50 times, but you have a real talent for writing.
