    Believe every word you have read on this book and play - I first read it when the book was first published several years ago and I laugh and cry every time I read it. Tommy Murphy's dramatisation of the book is a joy. It's been on the Sydney stage 4 time sin the last 12 months including a huge season at the Sydney Opera House. (If you see the play wait for the line about asparagus and serving it before certain types of parties. I urge you all to read the book or see the play Richard
