Those of you who have been wondering why Knots 6 hasn't been written, it's because I had a serious heart attack and then found out I had more serious problems so I'm having open heart surgery in Fuaryebr 1918 and should hopefully feel much better after the surgery. Elias

Just did.

Chapter 27 Epilogue My parents and I yelled and screamed at each other until the sun came up. They felt hurt and betrayed. They called me names; I called them names and called them out for the way they’d treated me after I came out of the closet. I called them hypocrites and even called them assholes once or twice. It was like the courage had been locked up inside. It helps sometimes when you just don’t give a shit what people think anymore. But you have to realize I couldn’t have done a

CG, it was tough to find the right ending. I hope I have succeeded. The last chapter will be posted in the next couple days. It's an epilogue that I used to bring everything together. I hope I succeeded and look forward to your comments. I'm still struggling with my health. I'm very short of breath, but hopefully it will get better a little more each day. I have to admit I teared up myself when I read the ending a while back.

pvtguy You're right about the lack of sex scenes which would detract from the story. Thanks for taking the time to write your comments.

Chapter 26 Just when I think life is like a box of chocolates, I find the box filled with shit balls. The hall monitor caught me using my phone in the restroom between first and second period. I wanted to write Frank a quick note since we were taking the bus to the football ball game right after school. Sometimes I’m stupid. Frank had warned me, but I didn’t listen. The hall monitor took my phone, walked me to the main office, and had me sit outside the principal’s office. My heart is bea

Chapter 25 Will Waters Tue, Sept 2, 3:21 PM To: frankf4321S@gotmail.com Hey its me!!! An everything is like ok!! I thought fer some reason we started with a half day (?) today but it was a whole day! Oops! Went good though! I gotta pretty cool schedule too, with my seventh period free like I hoped for so I can leave at 1:45!! It pays to be a good student! And ya know what!?? Jason and Gary had me sit at the jocks n popular kids table for lunch!!!!! How

CG, it always comes down to politics and what's expedient. He should be fired for hitting Will. It's assault, they could file charges even.

Chapter 24 Frank wrote back. “I think you’re right about your dad. Max is no dummy. He knows where the food is. Woof and love ya. My parents headed to church on Sunday without me so I took the time to write Frank. Will Waters Sun, Aug 31, 10:44 AM To: frankf4321S@gotmail.com Well...it's weird being home when everyone else is at church. Only time I've ever done it is when I've like got the flu or something. Weird. Did tell dad that since it

Chapter 23 Frank followed up with more information on girls and ended by saying, “If nothing else, if you find yourself in conversations with braggers and guys who love to talk about sex, you'll probably be more well-informed than they are. Personally, I think anyone who brags about taking a girl's virginity is an asshole, but that's my opinion. I was brought up to respect girls and I do, even though some have put me through hell. If a guy is gay, then he should respect a gay guy the same as

CG, I was very fortunate to have a good relationship with my dad, but he died at 52 and I was 27. I have always missed him and he's represented pretty much as I remember him in A Warrior's Son, which can be found at shacknation.shackoutback.net in the author's alley under Elias Scott.

Thanks CG. Have been slow publishing because of my heart attack, but doing my best to post something. Thanks for the note on the repeated material. I'll take a look.

Chapter 22 Will Waters Thu, Aug 28, 8:57 AM To: frankf4321S@gotmail.com Well...here I am. Gonna be a borrriiinnngg day. We're definitely staying til tomorrow now so grams can rest and feel better. Ya can only swim so much ya know? Already practiced my favorite pastime this morning (ha!) since I have my own room. Almost got busted cause my grandparents have a key to my room and gramps decided to just walk in! I politely said geez gramps don't ya remember about

I'm not sure what happened, but this chapter reformatted itself when I edited it. There wasn't much I could do because Gayauthors does not allow a full replacement without a lot of problems. Chapter 21 Frank wrote me and asked me about what I thought of his plan of sending me an autographed copy of his mainstream book, having me read it, and then introducing him to my parents and family through the book. I was so stressed I really didn’t want to think about any of that. There is already t

Thanks for telling me about the errors. I thought I'd pretty well edited it, but I guess I didn't. I know better. I usually have them edited by someone else, but didn't this time because I was going on a trip. Thanks for mentioning the reflective tone. That means a lot.

CG, sorry I'm just getting back to you, but I had a small heart attack and was unable to post. There are at least 5 chapters left.

I'm not sure why it's so important to tell anyone if we're gay or not. I went to a gay bar once, but it was during the day and there wasn't anything much going on. I watched all the episodes of Gay as Folk and they made the gay bar scene seem absolutely wild. But I think you have to be young and somewhat hot. But I may give it a try again sometime. The book you're asking about is A Warrior's Son and you can read it at shacknation.shackoutback.net Go to Author's Alley to find my name, and you'll see Knots, A Warrior's Son, and Teenage Mosaic. I'm glad you're enjoying A Matter of Perspective. I always worry that it might be a little repetitive, but no one has complained about it yet.

Chapter 20 frankf4321s Sun, Aug 24, 9:24 AM To: willw521k@willmail.com Will I've gotten so used to hearing from you every morning I was surprised when I didn't hear from you this morning. You must have gone to church. Hope your day went well and you enjoyed the pictures of my family and the view from my back porch. Chapter 19 Will Waters Sat, Aug 23, 7:43 AM To: frankf4321S@gotmail.com My God it was awesome!!!! The Mariners lost 18 to 4! That kinda sucked, but I got to see 22 runs scored! And that after finding out about college! I don't know what's on the agenda for today yet because nobody else is even up yet, but it's gonna be damn hard to top yesterday! Ha! Kinda hope we're just gonna lay around and do nothing, that'll be my suggestion anyway. Don't want them all to

CG, it is surprising how the people can change so quickly. What will happen if they find out it's all a sham? I was a teacher and loved it. Had more problems with the adults than the kids. That happens when people are fighting for fewer and fewer resources. I will admit the younger kids are a bigger problem than the older ones. Part of that is puberty and trying to grow up. I had been teaching high school for quite a few years and decided one summer to teach middle school kids. What a difference!

CG, unfortunately, when I wrote this, I ended the chapters by length, or at least thought I had, but have noticed that some are very short and some longer. It's my fault for not going back and changing where the chapters end. A couple readers have mentioned this fact. But Chapter 18 has been posted so you should have gotten your fix. This book was already written, but GA won't let me post three at a time. I have to wait 8 hours between postings so do it three times during the week. Otherwise, you'd be getting more. I'll get back to Knots as soon as I finish posting A Matter of Perspective. There are a total of 26 chapters and an Epilogue so there are about three to four weeks before Knots begins again.

ColumbusGuy, I agree with you about the party. At my age I sometimes forget that I mad dumb mistakes as a teenager. And yes, while his friends should have told him, they probably didn't give it much thought in relationship to Will. They're teenagers and time had passed since they were all friends so they may have figured Will would think it was cool. But I agree. They should have told him. But Will did learn something. Frank, as you know, found it difficult to ask Will to compare to two parties, but he thought it had to be done if Will was to look at it from both sides. I think Will's answer was very honest.

Oxala, your perspective is always unique and appreciated. Will is expressing more confidence even though he's exposed to these unexpected happenings. Will's excitement and nervousness over the night before he went shows how important this wall was to him. It's too bad it turn out how he'd expected, but there were some positives as you said.
